Our fourth floor meeting rooms are ideal for a larger Long Beach convention or meeting. The Regency Ballroom is 10,000 square feet with 16' ceilings. Lighting hang points from the ceiling will accommodate your most elaborate production. This Ballroom also divides into 6 sections, making it ideal for breakout rooms. The Regency Foyer, with its view of Long Beach harbor, is a perfect setting for a coffee break where your guests can mingle.
Our Beacon Ballroom, located directly across from the Regency Ballroom, offers 100 feet of windows overlooking Long Beach harbor. This Ballroom divides into two sections.
The first floor meeting rooms are great for smaller, more intimate meetings or breakout sessions. The Seaview Ballroom divides into three sections and is 3500 square feet. Shoreline, Harbor and Pacific rooms are smaller and perfect for a small conference.

My husband and I recently had a 2 night pleasurable stay at this fine hotel. What stood out was the exemplary service and walking distance to many Long Beach attractions and good restaurants. It is located across the street from the newer "Pike" entertainment complex--loved the Dubliner Pub--and the variety of casual and fine restaurants in Shoreline Village. Our room #610 was a Harbor View Deluxe King. Hyatt did a excellent job in its recent renovations giving the rooms a sophisticated contemporary feel with a cool blue and white decor. The comfortable king bed had the most pillows I had ever seen on a hotel bed and faced the large windows that looked out onto the lovely harbor. I would recommend getting a room between the 10-14 floors (15&16 are Regency Gold Club floors) for a more expansive view. Our view was beautiful but after viewing a higher floor room I realized next time I'll request floors 10-14. Our room service breakfast was in time and delicious. Only true disappointment was the lobby bar which seemed like an afterthought although the bar service was attentive. Don't hesitate to this hotel. « less

The Hyatt is connected to the Convention Center which makes for an easy walk while attending a conference, especially in rainy weather. The hotel has a convention center/business/corporate feel to it. The rooms are well equipped for electronics and reflect sleek, modern architecture and furnishings. The lobby is rather stark, certainly not plush, more business like than vacation like. Great views of the harbor and close to restaurants on the waterfront. Very accommodating and pleasant staff in all areas, front desk, housekeeping and restaurant. « less

This is a lovely hotel. We (child and I) stayed here last year and this year for a convention. The hotel is recently renovated and it looks amazing. The rooms are fun and modern and the beds are very comfortable. (One drawback? Thin walls. I can hear my neighbors pulling their window shades up and down. That is how thin the walls are.) The staff on site is wonderful. But they don't have enough staff for the busy weekend. This is the second year of this convention and I was hoping some of the kinks from last year would have been worked out. But they had not. When you have a hotel full of girls and boys who all need to be in the convention ball rooms at the same time it might make sense to have enough staff to facilitate meals like breakfast and room service. The first morning our room service was 45 minutes late. We had just minutes to eat and run. The next morning we never received our wake up call. Obviously two big no-nos. And I had friends at the hotel who also experienced the same problems. Seems to me it would make more sense to have the staff to manage these requests rather than putting the front desk in the position of having to take $$ off guests' bills to make up for it? Again, the staff that WAS there were lovely and accommodating. They were just under supported. « less

We were here for one night in preparing for a cruise departing from the San Pedro Princess piers. Everyone from Valet-Bell staff to Regency Lounge personnel has a "how can we help you" attitude. We had a very spacious room on the Queen Mary side (Room 936). The lobby is spacious, and has a large amount of glass accentuating the water views. Our room view is 180 degrees ranging from the Queen Mary to downtown. The furnishings are modern, and seem to reflect a recent remodel. Prior reviews revealed thin walls - in our area of the hotel that situation was not evident. Finally, if your preference is Starbucks there is a coffee bar in the lobby serving Starbucks coffee. « less
