First stay at this hotel having changed from my usual one across the road. Internet much faster which is important when on business. The club lounge was a welcome surprise although the service for breakfast was a little inattentive. Rooms modern and comfortable. Will choose room without internal door next time as i could hear the room next door very clearly. Perfect location for flights into heathrow. Will definitely stay again. « less

Gloucester Road, London, is my favourite location. I normally arrive at Heathrow around 6:00am and thus find travelling on the tube very convenient (and cheap). When you take away the 2-way expenses on Heathrow Express and taxi to your hotel, you can easily upgrade to a 3-4 stars' hotel like Crowne Plaza Kensington instead of staying in a less comfortable hotel somewhere in town. There are many hotels around Gloucester Road and Earls Court areas. I always find Holiday Inn Forum and Crowne Plaza Kensington very reliable. And as a Gold Club member, I enjoy free Wifi and quite often early check-in.
Glouceser Road is only 6 stops away from Leicester Square and it also has many good restaurants. Also, it's only 10-15 minutes on foot to V&A Museum and other top museums in that neighbourhood. And Crowne Plaza Kensington is only 2 minutes on foot from the tube station.

Chose this hotel last autumn since my "usual suspects" from previous London stays were either too expensive or fully booked. Loved this place and returned this month for four nights. Was really satisfied overall ; as a platinum member was upgraded to a suite which was superb in all respects. Great bed, perfect spacious bathroom/toilet, great fittings, ironing board, ample storage space, really large lounge area which was great for my meetings and guests and a superb range of tv channels on tvs in both rooms. The only complaint I can make was that despite having many lights, the bedroom was a wee bit dark. Lots of little extras thrown in ....tea, coffee, cookies, bathrobes and slippers and a vast range of toiletries, free newspaper. The rooms were street-facing but quiet...double glazed well. I will live here again for sure and recommend the property highly....it is well located and better than the two Central London Holiday Inns I lived in previously. « less

My wife and I stayed for one night in May. This was so we could do the moonwalk in Battersea. Nice room and very tidy, shower room great. We only really slept in the very large comfy and clean bed. The staff could not of been more helpful. Arrived at 13.20hrs to be told room not ready until 14.00hrs went for some food and returned. We still had to wait around and finally got a room at about 15.00hrs. It was a bit noisy, but had a late check out so we could get some sleep.Obviously everyone else was leaving. All in all a nice clean hotel. Cant comment on bar etc as we did not use them. « less

Stayed 1 night early May 2013 with my wife & adult child coming from Paris before flying back to USA the next day. We had deluxe room which had 2 double beds. Room was good size for 1 or a few nights. Location very convenient- across the street from the tube with 35 minute direct trip to Heathrow, or about 20 minutes to tourist areas. Many restaurants within walking distance. Room was very clean with usual amenities. Front desk staff very pleasant. A good choice if you want to be a little away from tourist area, or not too far from Heathrow. « less

Dear Rick150 Thank you for leaving a review, I am so glad you enjoyed your brief stay with us. Our rooms are indeed a good size and are above average for London Hotels. Our deluxe rooms which all have 2 double or queen size beds, are ideal for families. I do hope you will be back again soon, hopefully for a longer stay so that you have time to enjoy all that London has to offer. Best regards Lawder Smith General Manager
