I, usually, stay at the Super 8. It just, so, happens that the Super 8 could not accommodate the 40 foot truck on this Saturday night. So, yesterday, I called ahead at the Howard Johnsons. The girl I spoke to was very accepting of my offer. And, said that I could park aside a bus which is parked at the adjacent building which is Lucy's and George's Pancake house. After, I arrived, today, immediately we check the internet connection. It was rough. the 5 bars would not connect to the internet. We were connected. but, not to the internet. We called the front desk. They said try another connection. So we did find one that worked. 2 bars. It only works intermittently. After, four hours of being, constantly, cut off of the internet. "Very Frustrating" and after many calls to the front desk to have the router reset. Finally, the Girl at the front desk quit taking our calls. So, I went up to the front desk to resolve the issue. After she accused me of being rude and respectful. Which at this point, I, probably, was. She called Peter Panchel from his time off. Be as upset with them as I was, they asked me to leave. Instead of fixing this 4 hour old issue. I, decided to stay. and tether off of my precious bandwidth of my phone. to report this issue. I would not recommend this place for nothing. High speed internet means. High Speed Heart Rate. « less

We would like to apologize regarding our Internet connection it was due to our provider that the service was not working correctly. We did put in a call and were told that the Technician could not come out until 2 days later, and since this was a very important aspect of the customers stay and he was being verbally abusive to our staff we offered him a full refund even though he stayed in the room for 4 hours and explained to him that our internet will not be fixed for a few days and it may be better he stay elsewhere. Since then we have got the Internet fixed and we do apologize again but it was something that could not be fixed in house and had to be repaired by our provider so it was out of our hands. We wish this customer was a little more understanding but we understand when you need the internet you should be able to access it.

The beds need to be replaced.For the price it was okay. Not sure if we would stay here again if the beds were noy replced. The breakfast ihas little to offer. Just rolls and coffee/juice. It is close to the highway and restaurants, A large cinema is just down the road. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The internet kept dropping but they restarted it right away. « less
