Out the front door is a Pizza Hut and on the other side a strip center with a grocery store. It is also close to downtown. This concept hits all the buttons at a reasonable price point. Stayed here while traveling from Fl back to Ct. Pleasantly surprised. We arrived about 9pm and had traveled all day, so it was pretty much check in, get some sleep, breakfast and back on the road. The staff was terrific, check in/out was quick and simple. Breakfast was not 5 star, but it was as good any I've had at hotels offering free beakfast. Only one computer in the business center which I did use instead of getting out my laptop. Nice private area with very good internet speed. This hotel was spotless. The lobby area was beautiful and room (suite) we had was large, clean and in very very good condition. I have a feeling if I was there for a few days this rating would go up to a 5, excellent. I just wasn't there long enough. Everything is a matter of expectations and we got more than we expected for the price. This is a great place for the money. « less

Not all Sleep Inns are equal! This one was by far nicer than most of the other ones we've stayed in. It was very clean with a modern tasteful decor, and great rooms to match. My husband and I stopped here on our way home from a southern road trip. We enjoyed their breakfast which had a good variety including eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits, fresh fruits, and more. One little bump...the new toasters (it was the second one we saw in a Sleep Inn)...they are too slow and they don't toast well. Sleep Inns...replace them! On the other side..The staff was warm and welcoming with snacks for reward members. The mattresses were comfortable, flatscreen TVs, and free WIFI. (Tip...go to West Cary St., Richmond, VA for shops, and restaurants.) We are two young senior citizens always appreciating a good value. « less

They have a nice workout room and indoor pool. The price is great, especially compared to the other hotels in Ashland. I would say this is the top place to stay in Ashland. « less
