There is one down side. While the staff are very friendly and helpful I do get the impression they are trying to make money from you at every turn. I am a gold HHonours member and booked 2 rooms, one for me and one for my colleague. They upgraded one room only and then asked if I would like to pay and extra 10,000 Yen to upgrade the other one. I said no and they upgraded that room anyway - It felt like a tried and tested plan for them.
Then the bar on the 35th floor charges a cover of 1,200 Yen for hotel guests which seems a bit crazy considering I had exactly the same view from my room 5 floors lower.
I asked for an extended check out to 6pm for which they wanted 50% charge. Thats fine. I dont complain about this and is standard in Asia. However, when I did check out they tried to charge me 50% of what the executive room should have cost (31,000Yen), not the cost I actually paid (21,000 Yen). I complained and they were willing to reduce the charge to what was agreed, however it was a bit annoying to have to complain about this.
All else fine, a good place to rest your head. « less

Room was very comfortable and of a decent size. Desk and sofa and generally very well maintained.bathroom was small and dated and rather basic for this level of hotel. Reception staff polite but rather rigid. i arrived early and had to wait hours to check in after my 14 hour flight. Not very welcoming. In such rare circumstances a good hotel should try to do an early check in. « less

Without doubt this Hotel is located in a great location, just across the road from the main railway station and all the major department stores. Osaka is perhaps Japans culinary capital so eating out is never far from the Hotel. The hotel was mean spirited with only complimentary drinking water on the first day and the bathroom lighting a little dull. I also found the check in check out quite slow, especially given they had all my details from reservation. Overall I would still stay here in the future primarily because of the location « less
