A charming and elegant hotel located just 400 meters below the city walls, a short walk from the medieval hill town of San Gimignano which is characterized by its majestic towers.
Right between Florence and Siena, and overlooking the splendid, serene Tuscan countryside towards Volterra, the hotel offers impeccable service and surroundings, maintaining the taste and style that attracts visitors from all around the world. Confortable meeting and banquet space available in our fireplace room and at the bar lounge area, on our shaded terrace and in the garden. Our bar serves all day long, on our terrace and around the pool, our selection of drinks, cocktails and typical wine. It is open till 12pm. At lunch time we will be serving a snack lunch on our terrace.
The hotel has limited free parking on property and some private spaces inside our front gate reservable at nightly charge.
San Gimignano, a town of fairy tales with its 14 medieval towers is a UNESCO World Heritage site widely recognized as the best preserved medieval village in all of Italy.

Nice hotel with great views from the pool terrace. Our room was fine but only overlooked a small tiled area. No problem really as we were out and about all day. Breakfast was fine although one day they ran out of a few things. All the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. As you turn into the narrow road for the hotel there are some free parking spaces otherwise there is a charge if you park right in front of the hotel. San Gimignano was just a short walk away so when the crowds get too much it is only a short walk back downhill to the relaxing pool. « less

I visited the RSC hotel with my mother for the first time. As soon as we arrived, fresh air getting into our room welcomed and refreshed us. Then we were impressed with nice views of countryside from our room as well as a restaurant you never seen in downtown in Italy. All member of the staff are so kind and helpful --- they looked up train schedule, told me about the town near from the hotel and gave us some maps. Thanks to nice facilities and people, we enjoy staying in San Gimignano in comfortable and enjoyable way. We wanna go there again!! « less

The very busy San Gimigniano is very close but the hotel is quiet and good for relaxing at the pool side. Parking space is limited and the parking within the gate is a little expensive (13 Euro per night). « less

The RSC Hotel provided the relaxing part of our Italian Holiday. To wake up to that view each morning was a joy. Breakfast was an easy start to the day--whether just going into town, a five minute walk away, or taking in any of the other hill towns nearby... it was just easy. The staff was very helpful in many ways-- bus schedules, train schedules, laundry, where the store was, or whatever. Thank You Relais Santa Chiara for making our stay so relaxing. « less
