Having stayed at the Mina A' Salam for 4 nights in Jumeirah before going downtown to The Address.. The difference was stark... The modern decor and ambience was just so cool.. Total luxury all the way. The bars are fantastic and the service top notch, nothing too much trouble. Interestingly the food and drink was less expensive than the Mina which was a surprise as you are in the city. Stayed on the 7th floor and access to the business lounge which has fantastic views over the lakeside and towering Burj al Khalifa . From Neo's bar on the 64th Floor you can see for miles. The infinity pool area is very relaxed and you can alway get a sun lounger ( no need to get up at 7.00am to ensure you get one! ) the infinity pools are spotless and cater for both children and adults with separate depth pools that have the appearance of a cascading stream around one side of the hotel with lush vegetation to give it that exotic arabian feel.
Who needs to go to a beach resort when you have all the facilities on your door step and no sand !! The only minor issue was that the room looked over the shopping Mall but was only in the room at night and it didn't really matter because if you wanted the best view you just went to the lounge or bars... « less

Spent 8 days at this hotel on a business trip. i stayed in one of the fully furnished apartments with a fully equipped kitchen. Room facilities were top class. Interior design was top class...Middle Eastern touch. Room cleaning could be requested at any time and you still receive a tuck-in service in the evening if you wish. Super abundance of bottled water, fruits, coffee and toiletries.
Hotel is located right beside the Burj Khalifa and one of the largest malls in the world. You can enjoy the Light&Sound event at the plaza. Multiple restaurants and cuisines to choose from within the hotel or right in the mall.
Breakfast was AED150 but the choice was rich. Service was excellent. My request for late checkout was accommodated without any problem.
Airconditioners were perfectly 'noiseless' in my apartment. Lots of TV channels to choose from in several languages.
The only downside: I expected to receive an international call directly in my room without hotel operator connection. I was told they needed IT to set me up...but only after two hours when they report to work. Well, I did not have two hours...I had partners in the US waiting for me. I am sure it was an isolated incident but it was upsetting.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the services, amenities, location and experience at this hotel and I will stay there again without any hesitation. « less

I have now stayed here 3 times and have never been disappointed. The views of the Burj al Khalifa and the fountains from the fountain view rooms and suites are probably the best in Dubai. Service is excellent, rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Great central location, seconds walk from Dubai Mall. Really cool bar with amazing views. The pool area is lovely. The Club rooms offer excellent value as the restaurant provides breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and evening drinks and nibbles. Also club rooms come with a free one-way airport transfer. « less

I was visiting Dubai and some friends took me to visit The Address, a hotel that I didn't know yet. What a great place, the hotel is very impressive. We went for drinks at Neos on the 64th floor. Great views of Dubai, great ambiance, you pay for it, of course, I learned that drinks in Dubai are not cheap, but go for it. great views from up there. The only down side on the experience was the valet service which was way to slow, again, this must be a Dubai problem, because in other hotels we faced the same issue. Some were really bad as The Palace, another property just next door. I must say that I was impressed not only with the bar but also with the people, visiting and working, beautiful people all around you. Great place for singles. « less

I really enjoyed my first stay at The Address Downtown Dubai. It is truly a luxurious grand hotel with many great outlets, a fantastic spa and a pool overlooking Burj Al Khalifa. The atmosphere, the staff are absolutely amazing. Breakfast at Fazaris is HUGE! Excellent quality and variety of foods. Strongly recommend « less
