This property had great appeal to us for our event. It was quiet, off the Las Vegas strip - seemingly a great place for a retreat. The guest service attendant was very helpful, made wonderful suggestions, and the place sounded perfect. Once our block of rooms was secured everything changed. There is a serious lack of leadership by managers, frustrated employees, and getting even the simplest of tasks done required much follow up. Be prepared for many hidden costs and lack of follow through. If you are considering the property for a wedding or corporate retreat, I would suggest you look elsewhere. « less

This was my first stay and to be quite honest I was expecting a little more. This property used to be a Ritz Carlton. The room size was average aswas the decor. We were on the top floor (8th) and unfortunately could hear some of the air conditioning units. Our view was of the pool and a small muddy area of the lake. Front desk staff were friendly but not very informative. More signage is needed for their Firenze lounge, walked by it three times thinking it was just a bar. Anyway had dinner there and service was slow....there were a lot of guests....two weddings and a wine walk. Food was great but a bit pricey. Self parking is a small hike. « less

Lake is pretty from a distance but up close its a brown mess and it smelled sometimes. - I could tell right away this used to be a Ritz Carlton by the decor and facilities. I know this hotel has had lots of problems but it could easily be a 4-5 star property again. I heard its going to become a Hilton this summer so I hope they spend some money on paint and carpeting. Hallway and guest room walls were all scuffed and the hallway carpets were filthy. Guest rooms were fine...queen beds would be nice instead of doubles. My room was quiet so not sure about other guest complaints. Feather pillows in guest rooms were too soft and small. Guest Dry Cleaning was a pain...not returned until the next day after filling out the form correctly and leaving at the FD before 9am. The staff that I saw in person were nice but the staff on the phone in HSKP were not helpful. Pool was cold and a bit dirty. Overall, if I returned to Lake Las Vegas I would stay here again because of its proximity to the village. « less

This was our second time staying at Ravella and it was better than before (and our first trip last October was wonderful!). The staff were friendly and caring, the food was better this time too. This hotel is so elegant, the rooms are clean, the tubs are big soaker tubs, & there are lots of little extras included in the price. We are now at a hotel "on the strip" for a couple of nights and it is noisy and hectic and anything extra involves an additional charge. I regret moving downtown even for a couple of nights (we went to a show last night and did not want to drive in the evening after the show) We enjoyed a number of spa treatments at Ravella and the staff remembered us from last fall. Again a gorgeous setting and professional service. We also enjoyed the nearby village and the opportunity to eat out at other restaurants. I really can't say enough about Ravella, and you can be sure we will be back. « less
