The manager was very helpful and friendly probably to make up for the total lack of maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel. The halls and hotel public areas were very dirty and unkept. Cigarette butts everywhere - The rooms were very dirty. Conforter full of cigarette burns. Very iffy Would try one of the other numerous hotels around that area before staying there again. I want to thank Yeon Moon and her wonderful staff at the Garden of the Gods Days Inn. I have stayed in comfort Inns, Hamptons and many other "high quality" places and have found that the hospitality service and attention to detail at the Garden of the Gods Days Inn outweighed the others by far. It is rare to find such exceptional treatment at such a reasonable price. They aim to please and service their guests with phenomenal grace. If you value personal customer service you will not find a better value than Days Inn in Colorado Springs. « less

We needed a non smoking room because my wife has ahsma. The hallway reeked of smoke and she had to sleep with a wet cloth over her face and on a bath towel for a pillow because the linens smelled so badly of smoke. We were in Colorado Springs for her fathers funeral and there was a very bad storm so we got in late so she just endured. But we will not so back.
I apologize if you felt your stay was dissatisfactory in anyway. If you ever happen to come back to Colorado Springs, please allow us a second chance to right our wrong.

I went to check in to the hotel and then go to a meeting and was advised by the manager my room would not be ready until after 6/7pm, Her house keepers were running behind! Went to check in close to 8pm and when I unloaded my car and walked all the way to my room my key did not work! So walked all the way back to front office with all my stuff and the girl said "Oh ya that room needed aditional work so we switched you" She then gives me my new keys and verifies this room is also a NON smoking room! (dont know why it mattered the hall had ciggerette butts everywhere and over flowing ash trays on the wall and stunk like a ashtray! Got into my room and litterly went straight to bed. Same thing second night! Next morning when I got up I noticed how DIRTY the bathtub was and the bathroom in general! I then started noticing the rest of the room and was FREAKED out that I had slept there not once TWICE!! I took pictures and then went to front desk to talk to them the girl working said she would have the manager call me, the manager called "said to bad you stay two night your problem!" I am going to go to the Days INN corporate with this it was that FILTHY! I would not recomend anyone stay there ever!! and at night people are running and talking and the mexican music from the attatched bar played very loudly! was there for a quick business trip and will Never go there again!! P.S. when checking out the "House Keeper" came in to get a new gallon of ROACH KILL!! OMG can still not believe I was there two nights makes my skin crawl! AVOID at any and all cost!!! SOOOOO not worth the cost or location!! On my check out I also noticed all the TRASH broken dressers, old night stands, old beds, all piled up behind the motel office and then the motel office windows looked like a horders windows if you have to have that much stuff stashed in there like that then you should cover those windows all the way!! « less

Dear guest, Our records show activity made to your account at 3:45pm on your arrival date. I am uncertain of the truthfulness regarding the situation of your room not being ready until 7pm at night. I assume that the majority of your displeasure comes from not being able to secure a room next to your friend, to which you repeatedly complained. We were remodeling and exchanging furniture earlier this year. I apologize for the furniture outside the lobby during your stay. We have a policy that refunds of multi-day stays must be discussed before your departure date. As nothing was discussed, nor brought to my staffs’ attention regarding the dissatisfaction you felt toward the condition of your room prior to your check out date, we unfortunately could not attempt to accommodate your concerns. Although in this particular case, a refund was issued.
