The swimming pool is of an ideal size, it's so nice to take a dive in the humidity and heat of Kentucky summers ! The hotel is within walking distance to the conference center, and is quite modern, that's why I chose it for my stay. Breakfast is good, although the breakfast area is a bit small. « less

Overall a great place to stay. The rooms were clean and the service is good. A couple of things to be aware of: The continental breakfast leaves something to be desired. They did have waffles, toast, cereal, and fruit. Be aware that if you are driving, there is a $10 per day fee to use the parking garage but this is probably the case for anywhere downtown. « less

We stayed at this hotel for Thunder Over Louisville, and it was a great choice! The hotel is within walking distance to almost anything you'd want to do in the city. The staff was extra friendly and made sure we were satisfied at all times. The rooms were modern and accommodating, and the beds were extremely comfortable! The free breakfast closes a little early, but if you make it on time, it has quite a few choices - more than just milk and cereal, like a lot of other hotels offer. The value wasn't too bad, considering we stayed downtown during one of those most expensive weekends of the year. Can't really complain! « less

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Louisville Bats stadium and general downtown Louisville attractions. It certainly met that criteria as we were within walking distance of mostly everything. The hotel was clean and the accommodations were adequate. The only frustration was with our check-in which was delayed by two hours. Despite being told that our room and another family's room traveling with us would be ready in "twenty minutes", we had to wait for 2 hours. We had requested rooms on the same floor which we were told was no problem upon arrival, but the one room was mistakenly checked into by another party while we waited. The front desk was apologetic and it wasn't the end of the world but we grew weary of the miscommunication and the delay. I'd consider coming back but the whole experience left a bad taste so I'd likely try another spot next time. « less

My husband and I were traveling to Louisville so that I could undergo a medical procedure. My doctor made the reservation for us at the Fairfield Inn and I couldn't have been made to feel more comfortable. From the time we arrived, the staff was so compassionate and helpful. We were also making a little vacation out of it and it was our first time in Louisville. Everyone was helpful in recommending restaurants and entertainment as well as attractions. The location was in the middle of all the museums and downtown establishments and a short car ride to other venues. The rooms were comfortable and super clean and the lobby was nicely decorated. The breakfast was sufficient. Having the complimentary shuttle service was a big plus. I would definitely stay here again should I travel to Louisville in the future. Thank you to the staff for making this trip a memorable one! « less
