Some places deteriorate as they become more successful. Not the Viana. They manage to maintain the friendly atmosphere even though they are hugely successful. I was back on business for the first time in a while. They put me in the suite I had stayed in with my husband a year previously. I was able to relive the memories of that wonderful weekend. That was priceless. Thank you Viana. All new staff since they opened but the communication tools they use are awesome making every guest feel special and remembered. I will stay nowhere else on Long Island. « less

Our daughter got married the weekend of May 4th 2013 and we reserved a block of 50 rooms for our out of town guests. In fact after the wedding we had a private buffet breakfast at the hotel. All I can say is from the moment we arrived on Friday, greeted by Louis(who is amazing),everything was perfect. The rooms are large, clean, and beautiful. We never touched our bags or car as Louis provided everything. The staff was more than accomodating and added to the joy of the weekend. The buffet was excellent. Not 1 guest had a complaint or a problem.I would truly endorse this as a perfect hotel in every way.You can be sure that whenever we return to the area we will definitely stay at the Viana.Thank you for making this special weekend in our lives a most enjoyable one. « less

My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Viana Hotel. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful, especially Hani, the assistant manager who went out of his way to make sure that we had a pleasant stay. We appreciate the" Green " theme efforts made by the hotel owner . The food was tasty, the fitness room was more than adequate...One of the employees, I believe it was Luis, was so thoughtful. He visited us while we were in the fitness room to make sure the music playing was to our liking and brought us cold water in bio degradable bottles. Our room was attractive and comfortable. We slept so well that we purchased some pillows to take home with us ! We will be back and will recommend this hotel to friends and family! « less

BES BUGS. After finding them management left us in our room with our one year old baby with no answer until we demanded to be moved to another room as leaving was not an option because we were staying there because we were evacuated from our home for hurricane sandy. The would not let us leave the room so we left and went back to our home which flooded the next day. After the incident we realized there was someone else who reviewed getting bed bug bites that is now removed from all their reviews. We were lucky enough to have found them crawling on the sheets as we pulled the covers back. I guess others were not so lucky. I would not recommend this hotel. « less
