Stayed for one night on a Sunday and due to the availability in the off season and the day of the week, I was able to get a 5th floor room with a lake view at a very reasonable price. The view was tremendous and the room was clean and comfortable with a king size bed, sofa, microwave, refrigerator & room safe. The location was very convenient for walking to and from the village. I would stay here again although the peak season pricing may be too much for my budget. « less

The Fort Henry Hotel is a very nice hotel in the Lake George Area. It is within walking distance of town and overlooks the lake. We were on the 5th floor facing the lake and the view was gorgeous. Breakfast was reasonable and the dining room also overlooked the lake. Price wise it was a good value but I wouldn't stay there during the the peak season due to the higher prices. Overall enjoy our one night.... « less

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were on the 5th floor (room 554) last night and had a lovely clean well appointed room with a beautiful view of the lake. The room was large and had everything we could need. Other friends were in adjoining rooms on the 5th floor so we had an afterparty (& pre-party) in other rooms. They were all different! One had a large dining room table and chairs. That was perfect for setting out snacks/drinks pre and post buffet. On the lake side of the hotel there was a large veranda/patio with plenty of wicker chairs for us to all get together before dinner. The hotel had a very large bar area which they used for a Sunday morning buffet which we all enjoyed before departing. ALL of the staff were very agreeable and friendly and made our visit special. We all agreed we'd do it again! « less
