Although we are used to staying in the "cheaper" hotels, this one was terrible! We were in Warrensburg for a wedding, The mix-up began when we were put in a non-smoking room. The manager came to the door the next morning, very rude and obnoxious! He threatened to call the police because we were smoking in a non-smoking room; we just assumed that they put us in a smoking room because that is what we paid for. When my husband told him to refund our money , he offered us a smoking room which we had to move to immediately, one hour before the wedding! The first room we were in was in bad need of repair, ceiling tile in bathroom was falling down and the smoke detector was falling off the wall. The second room seemed to be a little more well maintained, although there still were no ash trays! The so-called free continental breakfast consisted of stale pastries and cold cereal. We were to check out on Sunday morning. Ten minutes before checkout time, the manager walked into our room unannounced and asked when we were leaving! Very rude! Needless to say, we will never stay there again, and hope no one else has to experience this place either! I wish I could give this place a negative rating, lower then a 1 ! « less

WOW!! what a outdated place. A little paint, new carpet, caulk along the bathroom sink, new kitchen appliances, window treatment in the lobby and locks on the side doors of the exterior will go along way.
Make sure you tell the front desk attendant to NOT to say your room number out loud when giving you the key at check in. I considered this a safety issue especially since I was traveling alone. « less
