The hotel was a good place to stay near the airport and the staff was very friendly. The manager, A.J. couldn't have been nicer. After telling him what a good night's sleep I had and how much I loved the pillows in the room and offering to buy one, he checked to see if he had a fresh one, and sold it to me at a very reasonable price. « less

I was actually put at this hotel by United Airlines because I was bumped from my flight.
Good service. Seem eager to please. I can't give 'service' 5 stars - because my wake up call never happened. That could have been disaster - but luckily I woke up on my own. Good helpful shuttle service. Decent first floor entrance area. Upstairs becomes more like motel. Small room for a Fairfield Inn.
Comfortable room. However, I am afraid I need to report SMELLY ROOM ALERT.
I was in room 225. There was a bright light on that side of the building - almost like a spotlight shinning in your room. Good thing there are good window shades- just leave the shades closed. Nobody is really staying here for the view anyway. You are only staying here because of the airport shuttle.
If you are staying here - you are moments from the Harbor Seafood and Oyster Grill. Go eat there. « less

We were just there one night and found the hotel to be a good stay with very friendly staff. We stayed here on night before taking a cruise out of New Orleans so I can't say how far it was for other New Orleans attractions but it was a perfect place for us to stay the night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The area had nice shopping mall and good resteraunts. The breakfast was good and the workout room was good. We would stay here again for these purposes. « less

The service is good at this hotel and the staff very friendly. The rooms are quiet and the location is near the airport, but you do not hear a lot of noise. I have stayed here several times and there is a very good seafood restaurant within walking distance, less than a block. « less

We booked this hotel as an "award booking" with Marriott Rewards. It's a bit of a distance from the usual New Orleans attractions, and like others I've stayed in previously, this too is a very good Fairfield Inn. The proximity to the airport means that your wake up call(s) may be of the "jet engine variety" - starting at about 6:10am - but that's a good thing, because you'll be up early for the free breakfast! Lots of local flavors to take in. Day-tripping into and out of the French Quarter was pretty simple. I would certainly recommend this Fairfield Inn to my friends. « less
