We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in May. We upgraded to a superior room which was located on the third floor facing inwards. We had a view of the mountains and valley and a small balcony with two chairs. The room was slightly larger than that of a standard room and the balcony was a nice addition. We were a bit disappointed that the hotel no longer supplies individual bath products and feel that this is something that should be included in a superior room. There was however a hand wash and combined shampoo/shower gel in large pots attached to the walls. We used the facilities (sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room), these were very busy on the Saturday but much quieter on the Sunday making the use more pleasurable. Owing to the use on Saturday, some areas were in need of an additional clean throughout the day. It was lovely to have the use of bath robes and slippers throughout the duration of our stay and towels were provided for the spa area. We did not eat at the hotel so can not comment on the food. We had a special anniversary whilst at the hotel and the were very pleased with the champagne the hotel gave us to celebrate. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom very modern. The location is excellent as you are only about a 5 minute walk into the town where there are lots of places to eat. Having stayed at the hotel twice before, we feel that some areas of the hotel are looking a little tired but other than this we feel this is still a good choice if you are looking to spend time in Chamonix. « less

Very accessible to Chamonix with esy access to the main road from Geneva. The hotel is L shaped and a 3 storey construction. The room we had on the 1st night(129) faced the main access road to the motorway and was very noisey. Although double glazed, every passing car was clearly audible. Having upgraded to a room on the inside of the L, all road noise disappeared. Its just a shame I had to pay an extra 30euros per night to get a good nights sleep. However this also gave an almost unobstucted view of the mountains so was money well spent(rather than of the hotel opposite as was the case in our first room). The hotel was clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly and all spoke good English. As the accomodation was room only, my wife and I did not eat in the hotel although the prices did not look any more expensive than any other hotel. (We ate with our 2 daughters who were on a skiing holiday in the locality) The swimming pool was outdoor. The steam room and Sauna were very efficient and of a good sizes and included in the cost of the stay. However the cost of spa treatments were very expensive( I consider 95euros for a 55minute body massage very expensive) I have rated the "sleep quality" and "rooms" secions below based on our stay for nights 2,3 & 4 « less

It was not impressive at all. the Pool area was very dirty. the Hot tub was cold, and when we complained about it the staff were absolutely unhelpful and rude! Rooms were not so good either. they were too small. Even toiletries (Like soap, conditioner, lotion,...) weren't available. one of worst hotel we've experienced ever. « less

"Your follow-up and "shepherding," from my first contact with the web site until and including this one, is very impressive, very much appreciated. I would and will certainly use the site again, and I would certainly recommend it to others." S.J. - Detroit, MI
"You found me a great hotel (which I would never have thought of), they told me who to contact, they even offered to help us get an upgrade...and after our stay, they got in touch to ask me how everything went. A really easy and professional service and it made our rugby trip successful - thank you!" D.P. - London, United Kingdom
