We stayed at this hotel in January for two nights, which was originally supposed to be three nights. The hotel is dirty and needs to be updated. There was no hair dryer in our room and when we asked for one we were told there wasn't one for us. We asked for extra towels and never received them. The dirt from the hallway comes in from under the door into your room. There was mold in the shower. Bring your earplugs if you'd like to get some sleep at night because the street behind the hotel is very busy.
Our entire group had about ten rooms and we all left a night early and moved to a different hotel. We usually try to make the best of any situation, but this hotel was really disgusting. Find somewhere else to stay in Ponce. « less

Our staff is going to try to do their best on fixing the issues you experienced while staying at this hotel. We will take this feedback and use it to help this Ramada become a luxurious stay for future guests. We finish the casino construction on March first and now we are finishing the parking garage for all our guest. Construction on a parking garage started every morning, at 7 A.M., so you don't need an alarm clock. There was also a party going on Thursday night, where they close all the streets around the square. The staff could not tell us how we were to get back to the Hotel that evening, upon our return. The hot water in our room was warm but never hot. But my biggest complaint with the Hotel was, the charge for Valet Parking at the end of our stay. We had not been told that there would be this charge. For 5 nights we paid an additional $64. We had been tipping the attendants everyday, unaware of the additional charges that were yet to come.....It is a beautiful Hotel and our room was nice with a comfortable bed....The location is great as you can walk all around old Ponce from your room....But be aware, if it is a street party night while you are there, it is going to be noisy and the party can last well into the night...I would have to really consider my options before I would stay here again... « less

I stayed there with my husband and I loved it! I checked in around 3:30pm and the room wasn't ready yet, but the front desk girl, Chrissy, (she was kind of the lead, cause all other employees asked her every single question) explained to me why my room wasn't ready, very kindly and apologized for the wait. She also gave me and my husband two house drinks from Lola. We only stayed 3 nights and we have excellent time. Melao the cofee shop was good, Lola was good too. The casino very nice although old people don't let you play in the coin machines. Viva, the casino bar, was nice, a little to expensive, but we're in a hotel. So, go and check it out. Personel nice. Service good. Housekeepers always working. « less

Can get a little noisy, but worthwhile to see the happenings around the plaza and be part of the vibe of this beautiful town. Staff very willing to accomodate, but as in many of the older buildings, air conditioning cannot be controlled in the room and it is very cold. « less
