We stayed here over a weekend and were mostly happy with the stay. Good location, reasonable price, and the room was nice and comfortable. I would say that the housekeeping could use a little work however. Our bed was made with two top sheets rather than having a fitted sheet, so they didn't stay in place well. I left the card on the pillow requesting the sheets be changed to fix this; however, housekeeping never visited the room despite us leaving before 10am and returning late at night. Hopefully this was a fluke experience, as the rest of the stay was enjoyable. « less

The staff at the Doubletree was outstanding. My daughters whole soccer team and their parents all stayed at this hotel and all had a pleasant experience. The weekend night manager was very accommodating , some of the kids were in the lobby kicking around their soccer balls and were bothering some of the other guests who later complained. The manager was very pleasant and told the kids they could go upstairs in one of the large conference rooms and kick there soccer balls around as long as there was adult supervision. I thought this was a very nice PR job on her behalf and it made the kids very happy. Made me happy as well because I took my ice chest. Nice job Doubletree! Will stay there again! « less

our party of 12 arrived a day late due to storms in the area , we ended up stuck in Newark for 16 hours ! We finally arrived at Tulsa airport and were picked up by the hotel shuttle bus .The driver was polite and courteous , being Scottish we aren't the quietest even though we hadn't slept in over 36 hours , but the driver was soon laughing and joking with us like he had known us for years On checking in the staff were more than efficient and quickly gave us our keys sympathising about our delay . we were asked if they could help as our luggage hadn't arrived but we just needed rest at that point . We were given our cookies and bottles of water . Cant fault the rooms they were clean and had everything needed . Myself and my husband had a suite on floor 17 , it was large and bright . It was a bit dreary looking and badly needed refurbished but I came back one day to find two men in my suite measuring for the refurbishment due to be happening soon so when that's done the suite will be perfect. I have to mention our very large bed it was so comfortable , the best I've slept in and i get round a lot of hotels . The rooms were kept very clean by the same maid who was cheery and so helpful , given us ideas on where to go for meals etc can't fault the facilities from the pool to the gym which was well equipt and spotlessly clean and bar all were very good.We all loved the jacuzzi and spent many afternoons in there . We ate breakfast every morning for the 11 days we were there and it was excellent and good value . we aren't big eaters but managed to try most things on the buffet .The waiting staff were also all cheery and couldn't do enough for us , we spent a lot of time speaking to them as they wanted to hear our accents :) The bar was good but could do with a bit more variety , we drank them dry of sparkling wine as they had no champagne and they only did 3 cocktails we would of liked even a small cocktail menu , but that is our only complaint . We were over for my sons wedding and were kept busy meeting people , the shuttle bus was always there to take us where ever we wanted to go within the 3 mile limit , and pick us up again . and when we wanted to go further a field the reception were more than happy to arrange taxi's for us . I could go on as our stay was really enjoyable and our whole party agreed . my son's new wife is from Tulsa , so we will be regular visitors and we wont stay anywhere else . so don't change a thing ( except the suite !!) « less
