I booked there due to the proximity to a sports venue my son was competing at. It is cheap for a Paris area hotel and you can see and smell the cheapness. Perhaps when the refurbishment is complete it will be acceptable. We were given a tobacco infused room (not refurbished yet) and we asked to move. The second room was much the same...let's bite the bullet! Ok for an overnight stay if everywhere esle is booked up, but only if immune to fag smell on the pillow. A place to risk for the low price tag and when one's activity is in the southern suburb, but certainly not if romance and speed of access to downtown Paris are on the cards. « less

my boyfriend and me went to paris from december 7th untill 10th of 2010, we decided to stay in this hotel because we thought it was near from Paris, but its outside! its 20 or 30 kms far away from the city. There´s a train like 10 minutes walking and they charge you 9 euros round trip. I don´t like the place grigny because its dirty and it seems dangereus, i would never go alone or only with females!. When we arrived to the hotel we told the receptionist that we wouldnt like to stay at that hotel because it´s far and we wanted our money back, her name its isabel, she said it wasnt possible!! she was rude at the beggining, but after 2 hours talking she said she would only charge one night(more expensive 60 euros) and refound the rest of our money. At the beggining she wasnt really helpful but at the end she helped us to find another hotel inside the city, but the other receptionist she insist that we had to stay in that horrible hotel!. When they gave us our room, all the floor smells like cigaret and i don´t know what else, and even INSIDE OUR ROOM! it was so dirty down of our bed, honestly we didnt slept in the bed with the blankets they had, we brought our own blanket for sleeping. It has NOTHING! only the bed and bathroom and that´s it!. The bathroom its only the hottube, not shower, and the toilet plugs when we pull it!.besides its sooooo noisy!!you can hear the vacuum cleaner of the maid. Outside the hotel, in the parking there´s a big dump! all dirty!. The bulding seems old and needs a paintwork! I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THIS HOTEL! but the pictures says everything! My boyfriend it´s from Switzerland and im from Mexico, and even when you pay something that its not expensive, i think cleanness and service its the most important!. J'ai passé 6 semaines dans cet hotel soit disant correct pour des raisons de grand déplacement professionnel. J'ai écourté mon séjour (il me reste encore 1 mois et demi à passer sur Paris) pour un meilleur hotel au même prix non loin de là. Il est vrai que pour un moi d'aout, il était ouvert et a proposé des prix attractifs (près de 50% du prix affiché). Mais il est aussi vrai que la moquette dans les chambres est très sale, que la robinetterie fuit et l'eau a tendance à couler horizontalement, que l'extérieur est bruyant (voitures, camions à 4-5h du matin, klaxons, sirènes de police, ...), que les couloirs puent l'odeur de cigarette et de canabis, que le quartier d'à côté craint vraiment, ... Sinon (tout n'est pas négatif) l'accueil est très sympa, le petit déjeuner est correct pour son prix, la bière pression au bar de l'accueil est fraiche (mais pas bonne et chère), ... Attention de ne pas venir à l'accueil en même temps qu'un bus de polonais (très fréquent) : l'attente risquerait d'être très longue. Demandez le 4ème étage. « less
