Visitors to downtown San Francisco can step off busy Post Street and into the quiet retreat of The Andrews Hotel. This six story Queen Anne Victorian structure was erected in 1905 as an opulent Sultan Turkish baths. Two decades later the baths closed, and the entire building was remodeled into a European style boutique hotel. Located right off of Union Square in the heart of the theatre district, visitors are steps away from shopping, dining and entertainment. Fisherman's Wharf and the Italian neighborhood of North Beach are easily reached by cable car or a short taxi ride. The San Francisco International Airport is 30 minutes away.
Part of the Joie de Vivre Hospitality group, the Andrews Hotel provides 48 intimate guestrooms featuring lovely floral motifs, classic architectural features, and fresh flowers. Decorated in a French country style, each room has a queen or double bed with a down comforter. Queen rooms have bath and shower, while double rooms are shower only.
The hotel's Fino restaurant, one of the city's best kept secrets, serves traditional Italian cuisine prepared in an open kitchen. The hotel offers complimentary continental breakfast on every floor in the morning, and provides an evening wine reception featuring California and Italian wines. Coffee, tea and cocoa are available in the lobby throughout the day. The Andrews Hotel is a non smoking property. Valet parking is available at the hotel.
