First impressions were favourable. On checking in we were given a higher floor room, however upon explaining that my husband was a smoker and had walking difficulties we were allocated a ground floor room near the entrance and breakfast area. The reception staff continued to be very helpful throughout the holiday with other things we needed to know. A credit to the hotel. Rooms are spacious and the fridge and microwave are a big bonus. Large flat screen tv. No safes in the room but free safe deposit box available at reception, never had to wait to access my box so not a problem. Plenty of drawers and hanging space for clothes etc. Housekeeping adequate, floor not cleaned every day, but towels replaced and rooms left neat. The free breakfast was great, managed to fill up on something every morning, I note some reviews mention repetitiveness of food offered, we didn't find this a problem surely it would be up to the individual to have something different occasionally,even at home I usually have toast or cereal so can't see the problem some guests seem to have. Staff in the breakfast area kept the area clean and tidy, and the food was topped up continuously. Even after breakfast was cleared the coffee and tea was available any time. Whilst we didn't use the swimming pool the area was kept clean and tidy. The allocated smoking area was well away from the entrance to the pool and hotel so didn't experience any of the instances referred to in other reviews of the smell of smoke around the pool and outside seating area. Not a smoker myself but when my husband went there the other smokers were using the area. We were never pressured by the people selling theme park tickets, other places we have stayed you were approached every time you passed through reception. The hotel had a laundry, and a small self serve shop where they sold ice cream, crisps, drinks. Free wifi with a good connection very useful. If guests didn't have their own device the hotel had an area with two computers and a printer to use, also free of charge. Shuttle buses for the theme parks for guests without transport. A short walk to International Drive, especially across a grass area over the road. We would definitely consider returning to the Comfort Inn & Suites next time we holiday in Orlando. Me, My Mother and My sister visited orlando for the first time and we came to this hotel! I Loved it! The People their was Super Friendly! They had a game room which i totally loved and went there alot. they had a cafe where we ate the best breakfast! The waitress that served us was friendly and always had a smile! The Room was nice and cool. And services were great! They carried us to Disney world the next day after we arrived. We Enjoyed our stay and will return again! My husband and I booked this hotel as a rental car and hotel package through orbitz. For the money I could not have asked for a better deal. I have to say the hotel has been updated which is obvious. Room was clean, housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast was not five star, but wasn't expecting it to be either, but will definitely fill you up and keep you from spending a ton of money elsewhere on breakfast. Hotel was very close to universal and sea world. Only complaint we had were there are no safes in the room, you have to ask someone at the desk to lock it up for you which we did not feel comfortable doing. Pool and hot tot tub were greAt, and not a lot of noise. I know there are fancier hotels in the area but this hotel was excellent and for the price I think you would have a very hard time beating it!! Would most definitely stay here again! « less

Stayed here for 2 nights while attending a convention. Room was clean. Bathroom was dark. No safe in room. Wifi was slow but steady. Breakfast was typical for what you would find at a Comfort Inn, some items strange (biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs?). Several chain restaurants in the area and roughly 1 mile from Orlando Convention Center. « less

In the meantime we have safe deposit boxes available for our guests at the front desk. Regarding the breakfast, we rotate to meat item daily, one day is sausage and the next day is sausage gravy.
