The young gentleman that was at the desk was very helpful, courteous and paitent. We had stopped at a place down the road, which was a nigthmare and we got our money back and escaped out of there, if we would have traveled just a little further would have come upon the Qualtiy Inn! I asked for a room inspection of 3 rooms we were paying for before i would even give my information or pay. He very politely said "No problem". The rooms were very clean, mattress was comfortable, clean & "no sign of any critters", sheets were fresh and clean, breakfast had a very nice variety of food, & the price was very affordable for 2 people. Even asked for extra pillows and 2 minutes later they had them at our room! Highly recommended! Thank you for our stay! « less

The room was quiet, clean & comfy. Breakfast was more deluxe than the usual continental with lots of hot choices. I would stay there again, especially since the cost was very small for the value. « less

We had a good night at the Quality Inn. Real reasonable for an overnight on the I-95 corridor. Newer bath fixtures, clean beds, carpets and wallpaper needs updating. Wasn't important to us. Good free breakfast with a little more offered than usual. Pool looked nice, not open yet « less

The hotel is located about four miles east of I-95. There are many stores and restaurants nearby. We stayed in a room with two double beds and a microwave and fridge. One must ask to have a room with the kitchen appliances. The furniture was dented and old; small areas in the small bathroom showed peeling wallpaper and mildew; the bathroom fan had evidently been removed; and the carpet had a gummy and damp texture to it. My rating is as high as it is because of the pleasant staff who certainly deserve to preside over a facility which could be in better shape. If our room (#107) was any indication of the general condition of the hotel, it needs a serious renovation. « less

Chose this hotel from NC hotel coupon booklet during return trip while on vacation when it was time for a stopover. Really quite surprised to see this hotel is part of Choice Hotels! The building itself could use a bit of refurbishment. This second floor room could use a good scrub down and total refurbishment. The heater sounded like a lawn mower. The carpet was filthy, didn't want to walk on it with bare feet. Something was all over the comforter. Furniture had nicks. Wallpaper peeling and dirty. The front desk gal at check-in was pleasant, and also while working the continental breakfast the following morning. Two good things about this stop; the bed was comfortable and nice selection at breakfast. « less
