This is an older Hampton Inn, Southern Style where you access the room from the outside of the building. There are places to eat within easy walking distance, but there are no sidewalks. The breakfast was the standard Hampton Inn , This is a nice place for the price. It was easy to get to off the interstate, and easy to get out of and back on to the interstate in the morning. « less

Yes, it is an older hotel, but my room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was the standard Hampton offering so I knew what to expect. Everyone staff person I encountered was friendly and hospitable. Overall for an older property I though it was well kept and well run. I would stay here again. « less

For being a very old hotel, it's not too terrible. The beds are comfortable. The AC works great. The sheets etc are clean. The room was clean....all sounds great, right? But then I walked into the bathroom. The tub needs a good scrub, and some bleach to clean up the mold. I'm sure it was "clean", but there was a dirty film on the tub, and you could see where the soap scum was on the walls near the grab bar. And for that, I had to degrade it. The staff was nice. And, the rooms all open to outside...not a fan of that. There is no other window than the one off the entrance. So either the drapes are closed and you're in a dark room, OR, you have them open and everyone sees your business. That's just the design of the hotel though, sadly. « less
