We stayed here last night before renting a house for a week in Emerald Isle. There are surprisingly not an abundance of nice hotels in Swansboro, maybe because people rent houses for their beach vacations. So the location is excellent and the property seems really new, with all the currently popular amenities. The breakfast is free and quite similar to most hotels like this, but a free breakfast is both convenient and an amenity that people have come to expect. The rooms are a nice size, with lovely comfortable beds. The hotel looked to be filled to capacity and there was a wedding going on with the reception in the hotel, but the hotel was really quiet. Either the rooms are very soundproof or everyone was really sleepy! Very good stay. « less

There was a manager's reception every Tuesday-Thursday which was a great addition to the Hampton Inn & Suites as there's nothing better to get to your destination and have a relaxing glass of wine with pupus. Sabrina always welcomed every guest by asking how their day was. I hope to stay at this hotel for my future trips. « less

This Inn was built because (primarily) of the increase in Military personnel and contractors dealing with neighboring Camp Lejuene. And like a great deal of the businesses in the Jacksonville, NC area are out for your money and not to provide services as promised. « less

We are extremely sorry for any inconveniences that may have been caused during your stay. I received your other review through Hilton as well. Obvioulsy, when we receive a review that doesn't meet our standards it is very disappointing. From your reservation it looks like you were in our studio suite vs. what you may have experienced at other hotels. This is a new design for most Hampton's. We apologize for the mishap and will work to retrain our front desk agents to give you a better explanation of our suite setups so our guests don't feel mislead. It is my understanding that our management team reached out to you but was unable to connect so I would love to discuss how we can accommodate your future needs if you feel so inclined. In reference to the $25, you should have seen a credit to your account. If you haven't received it please let us know. Feel free to call the hotel and ask for me personnally.
