This is a 3 diamond rated hotel with AAA. Each guest room has a microwave; refrigerator; majority of the rooms have a pullout sleeper sofa; wifi; and an expanded hot continental breakfast. The facility does have one small meeting room available which can hold up to 30 people. There is an additional charge involved with regards to use of the meeting room based on the event. There is a fitness center; indoor pool and hot tub on site. Our current guest satisfaction score overall is 9/10 as of 1/28/09.

The whole team was in Mattoon for a 12U Fastpitch Softball Tournament and we all stayed at the Comfort Suites. Rooms were spotless- big(with a seperate sitting area)- comfortable beds and fresh towels each day. The free Hot breakfast was a great way to start the day off for the girls as there was plenty to eat and drink before they hit the fields. Indoor Pool was big enough for the girls to have fun and the lounge area worked nice for the adults to unwind after a full day. The entire hotel staff was friendly and helped out with all of our requests.

We stayed here on our way to Florida for spring break. On our way home,we had hoped to make it home to Wisconsin, but we needed to stop. Since we had such a good experience the week before, we stopped again. I was even given the cheaper rate of the week before, which was a Wednesday compared to a Friday.. This way our daughter could swim, I walked on the treadmill, and we could relax before hitting the road again. The rooms were clean, spacious with two televisions. The front desk staff were very nice. On the second stay, the gentleman at the front desk recommended a local pizza place that delivered. It was awesome, wish I could remember the name of it. The pool was a bit cold for me, so I didn't go in. The hot tub looked fine, but I didn't use it since there were other people in there. The televisions are flat screen, but not HD. Watching the NCAA basketball games was a bit fuzzy. The breakfast was fine and well stocked. I would recommend this hotel. If we drive down south again and need to stop, we will stay here again. « less

My family and I were looking for a place to stay on our way down South for Spring Break. We have 2 young children, and had a long road ahead of us. The people at this hotel are just wonderful people, and they made all of us wish we could stay longer. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was fantastic. Everything was clean and looked brand new, and we enjoyed visiting with the friendly people there. Breakfast was great, and they even helped me manage bringing food up to the rest of my family. My 3-year old son, was so impressed, he wanted to go back down for more. We felt the same about the entire experience. Now, we are looking for a reason to come back again!! « less
