We had a family dinner in your Fairfax room. One of our guests was going to arrive later and we asked to have his paid for meal put in a box for him. The waiter said it was "state law" that he could not do that. Yet we did have a box for left overs when we ate in the bar the previous day. We were not taking food out of the building, just saving it for a late guest. It made no sense to throw away his dinner. « less

Our 10th anniversary weekend was wonderful in this beautiful hotel. While there were minor issues with the room (the phone didn't work and the fireplace was stuck on "child lock" mode) the staff did everything they could to rectify and help us. They were courteous and prompt. The Jr Suite was beautiful. The bathroom was top rate. The biggest disappointment were the lumpy pillows. « less
