I am in Winston-Salem on businss and have been staying at this Hampton Inn and Suites. I will continue ot saty at this this hotel because of the staff and the feel of being home. I travel a lot and prefer Hampton's. This one is like going home every night. Of all of the hotels I stay in when I travel thsi will be the only one i will stay in when in Winston-Salem. If you are in town you would be crazy not to stay here. « less

I cannot say enough about the staff. They are all wonderful, very responsive and helpful. The breakfast was great the two mornings I was there; lots of variety, and truly a pleasant experience. There were only two things which I was disappointed in: (1) No guide for the available television stations, a small thing, but it seems like a guest should be able to know what's coming on what station at what time and (2) the unheated bathroom. After experiencing so much cold the first morning, the second morning I lined the bathroom floor with towels and left the door wide open, while turning on the room heater to 90 degrees then eating a leisurely breakfast. When I returned, the bathroom was nearly, but not quite, sufficiently warmed. Hampton Inn, you seriously need to address this issue. Next time I will sneak in a small portable heater.
Other than that, the bed was extremely clean and comfortable, the television conveniently located, two telephones in the room, a comfortable desk chair, and a great refrigerator and microwave which made it very convenient. At any time that I called the staff for help, they were immediately there. I loved staying there. « less

I apologize for the inconvenience with the televisions and will look into how we can improve this amenity. Also, I will have our Chief Engineer Glen see what we can do to “warm” up our bathrooms. I understand that this can be frustrating when traveling. Our staff takes pride in taking care of all travelers needs while traveling and I’m glad you were able to experience this during your visit.
