I attended a two day conference at Georgia Tech in downtown Atlanta. All the hotels in that area were sold out or were over $200 dollars per night. Comfort Suites is only 14 miles from my conference location and the rate was about $99.00 per night. It is in a safe area and right night to a very large mall with several resturants near by. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Just be sure to allocate more time if you have to travel down town. They serve a continental breakfast which was good/ « less

It was a very pleasant stay. Only stayed for 1 night. Hotel was full with family reunions and wedding parties. Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to mall, movie theater and Glady's Chicken N Waffle. Left hotel and went to park and ride and rode Marta to downtown Atlanta. Visited Olympia Park, CNN, Dolphin's Stadium, witnessed wedding at park and water show. Afterwards, we just walked around downtown for a while. then we caught Marta back to park and ride and went back to hotel. Got up next morning, ate our left over chicken and waffle and dranked coffee, went shopping, went to movies, grab a bite to eat on our way back home. Only complaint was kids jumping and running from 8:30 pm until midnight. « less

I stayed here for a total of three nights. Didn't prepare to stay fir three. First night everything was nice , quiet, and good location. Paper was peeling off wall in bathroom. Front desk wasn't as nice as other hotels I been in. I checked in and got my key, they did not tell me which way was elevator nor about breakfast in the morning. I'm used to better C.S. On the next trip I had another room, no microwave, but it bothered me cause that night I spilled lemonade when drinking it by the bed. I checked out and came back the same night cause I needed one more night, luckily I got my same room, until I pulled back the sheets and the bed was WET. Sheets were changed but from the lemonade the blankets were still wet. Housekeeping had to see and feel that the blankets and bed was wet. That brought down my overall experience. « less

Rooms were ok. One bed was concaved in the middle. Staff was not helpful or courteous. I heard numerous customers complaining. We were told by one staff member that the lobby restrooms were out of order and to just use the restroom in the room, but another staff member said that they just put "out of order" signs on the door so they don't have to clean them. « less
