Hotel is not directly in downtown, it's besides the main boulevard. We stayed 1 night in courtyard part, rooms in tower according reception guy should be better (but for higher price). Courtyard is next to the tower, it consist of 2 floors with many old rooms, free parking. Rooms were quite old, with at least 20 years old furniture, a shower, for 1 night it was just fine- It was like a room in an average motel. For longer stay I would pay more and take room in tower. We asked to change first room because of urine smell, second room was fine, with no smell. What I liked: Nice pool just in front of our window and whirpool. Plus large fitness with weight equipment. That's all I need, I was just happy then. :-) For the price 21$ plus 16,5$ resort fee (which includes free wifi, using of pool,...), price/service was just perfect. Then we could spend some money in casino too. Maybe there are better hotels in Las Vegas, but I liked it there. :-) But take the tower room. « less

Hotel is showing it's age. A bit smoky in the Casino. People are nice other than the concierge He was an idiot. Would not tell us where the shopping was unless he had a cross street. We are visitors we do not know the cross street. He should have a book of all shopping, attractions and any other trivia places we wanted to go. Tried to make us feel that we we idiots. Go away. We went to a few down town resorts and the were nice. Parking is not the issue anymore. « less

If you're visiting Vegas on business, the Palace Station is probably the best kept secret in town. I stayed there about 12 times over the last year. I definitely recommend the luxury tower, though. The hotel is incredibly convenient to the Strip and Downtown and there's never any traffic or big hassle in getting in or out. The deals are amazing. It's a comfortable, folksy place. No Vegas attitude. « less

Thank goodness the visit was over a hot weekend in late April. There wasn't hot water in the showers but it was flowing in the sink. The entire bathroom could use a remodeling - shower head was at forehead level and the shower curtains did not protect water from splashing into the bathroom floor. The climitization unit was out of control and couldn't maintain a constant temperature as indicated in the thermostat. The TV unit does not communicate with the remote control unit (even after I tried using my spare batteries). There were no elevators for the second floors... so try not to bring lots of luggage upstairs. On the plus side, parking was not an issue. « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"Loved the site, it really is a GREAT help when planning for a large church group! THANKS" J.P. - Chattanooga, TN
"By the way, I was very pleased with your site's service! It turned out that our group got a better room price reservation at a comparable hotel to the one we were considering. Since our small jazz band doesn't really have any budget to speak of, price was an important consideration and thanks to your service we were able to save money without sacrificing on the quality and amenities of the hotel. Thanks again! We'll be using you again, I'm sure, for future trips." D.R. - Auburn, WA
