The best thing about this facility is the location. Walking distance to Ikea / Woodfield, and easy on / easy off to the adjacent highways. Very clean grounds and lobby, friendly staff. However the rooms could've used some painting, and the noise level was high. I could hear occupants from a room that was 60 ft away when I was in the hallway. And the beds / pillows were not the greatest - as hotels go, i'd rate them about 6 on a scale from 1-10. « less

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We do have a fantastic location, hotel and staff. Regarding the condition of your room, our guest rooms are given a thorough maintenance review on a rotating schedule so I'm sure the paint issue will be taking care of shortly. Our GM also inspects rooms from time to time and I will bring your comments to his attention. The noise level changes with the guests in house and the hotel always does its best to contain any disturbance to any guest in their guest room and it doesn't sound like that was an issue for you as you noticed the noise in the hall. In the future if your bed and or pillows isn't satisfactory, you can always ask to move to another room or we can bring additional pillows so your stay is comfortable, which is our ultimate goal as your host.

My husband and I have stayed here 3 times now, when we come to visit his kids in the area. We love that the decor is so modern & the room so big, with a great flatscreen TV, sectional sofa, fridge and more. It gives the feeling of having a studio apt! We also like the breakfasts, though they are usually crowded on weekends. The indoor pool & hot tub are a nice bonus, though the hot tub fog and chlorine produce a steamy stink. I wish they had a fan or better ventilation. A small pointer for the hotel: the hot tub button for the jets is hard to find and needs to be marked with a sign. With proximity to so much dining and retail, this hotel is an excellent value. (Beware that getting back on the highway is tricky, esp. at peak hours.) « less

The 42" HDTV is viewable from either the bed or sofa sleeper, making it convenient for families and the business traveler alike. Skillet breakfast is very misleading, on the website they made it sound like a fresh breakfast with real eggs and pastry. This was a regular continental breakfast served on (big point here) Styrofoam plates and bowls!! This breakfast served on regular plates would have been much more bearable... I felt horrible throwing away a grocery store powdered donut on a foam plate... « less

The breakfast does feature a different breakfast sandwich, steel cut oatmeal, and either french toast and/or pancakes daily, which is complimentary to our guests. We usually offer regular dishes however you must have visited during our busy spring break season. We are glad you chose the hotel and hope to see you back during your next visit to the area.
