I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in February 2013
Key points: - Location was 10mins walk away from the main bus station & train station (direct bus to the airport) - As the hotel was already centrally located, it only took 5 to reach the main shopping mall and high street (historical buildings surrounded the area, which was nice to see) - Hotel receptionist was friendly upon arrival - I opted for a twin room, the bed was very comfortable and clean. The room was spacious (if you want a good view of the mountain, call the hotel up and ask them if can stay on the 11th floor) - Bathroom was spacious, alittle outdated, but it was clean and had a bath and shower head. - Free wi-fii access was only available in the lobby. It had comfy sofas so I didnt mind - Gym and sauna included - Worth noting that, the 'free shuttle' bus to the slopes wasn't available. I asked the receptionist but they didn't clarify the reasons for it being unavailable
Overall, I give this hotel a very good rating, its location was unbeatable and the room was very comfortable.

As a Hilton Honours Gold member, Our whole experience with this property was very disappointing and it amazes me how it can be allowed to be part of the Hilton Family. If your used with the first class Luxurt of properties such as Hilton Munich Park, Hilton Frankfurt, Hilton London Park lane, Hilton Warsaw and Hilton Prague your in for a big shock when you arrive here. After spending a week at a luxury resort in the German Alps and a spectacular train journey into Innsbruck we arrived feeling very underwhelmed. A Old uninviting lobby that stunk of stale cigareete smoke and only one poor chap on reception. On a positive note the hotel is very central. No recognition for my gold status apart from free breakfast and Internet which im automatically entitled to due to my current Hilton Tier. No upgrade to deluxe room category which I perfectly understood as Hotel was full this weekend but what really annoyed me is that my preferred roomtype was not honoured. We were given twin bedded rooms for both rooms booked, dispite Having emailed hotel a week in advance to request Kings as stipulated in my HHonours profile. Rooms are old, unfurnished and the bathrooms look something out of the 1960s. If it were not for the usual Peter Thomas Roth toiletries you would never thing that you were in a Hilton! I have stayed in much better Hampton by Hilton properties. One of our rooms stunk of cigarette somoke and in the other room the air con did not function. We found the duty manager quite unhelpful, rude and unprofessional. He has no concept of customer service and needs to be sent off to Hilton school! The Male receptionist did all he could to try and make us comfortable. Went to use the health club. very little equipment, some of it not functioning. The steam room was broken with an out of order sign in, went into sauna to be greeted by two young austrian men who told us we must strip naked in the sauna. went out removed my swim wear, put on a towel and was then told to take my towel off, I must be fully exposed and place my feet on the towel for hygiene reasons. This was simply too much, just got up and left! what kind of place is this. Gym needs a serious refit and the rooms need a total refurbishment to bring them up to Hilton Standard. Gold and Diamond members please take note there is no Executive lounge at this hotel and they provide no additional benefits. I think the reason this hotel is probably so bad is because there is not much five star competition in Town. If Marriott, Dorint, IHG or Sheraton moved into town they would have to move fast to remain competitive. I fully understand this is not the norm for Hilton so see it as an Isolated Incident but will be contacting Hilton HQ sugesting that they give it a thorough inspection. It may work better if they rebrand it as a doubletree « less

Everything that you expect of a Hilton. Nice facility, good sized clean rooms, good service. Ordinarily, I'd say the value was good...However, if you add parking and internet (it adds a 33% increase to the total price) and thus diminishing the value. While parking add-on's a fairly typical, in 2013 internet access should be free (something you can get from any coffee shop). Add-on fees are fine if you a using a discounter like Ryan Air, but I am quite sure Hilton doesn't fancy itself a discounter.... « less

I have stayed in the hotel 3 times now for business trips and have enjoyed the clean rooms, amenities & friendly staff at the restaurant Konrad and the professional reception staff. I am disappointed with how strict they are with check out and check in timings. I understand the reasons behind the strict check out policy due to high occupancy in hotel( a lot of tourists in Innsbruck)but since I and my company colleagues have stayed in the hotel quite frequently, I am disappointed that hotel brand loyalty is not recognized even for our company who would sometimes book a group of 14- 16 people 6 to 8 times in a year. Nice location and iew of the mountains.. « less
