We attended a Faire that parts of the Faire were at this hotel. We did not stay here, which I think was a huge mistake because the other hotel we stayed in was a total nightmare. The lobby is kind of small but it lends itself to that boutique kind of feel. The staff was very helpful and informative in getting us to the right place at the right time. The cocktail lounge is great lots of comfortable seating for relaxing and having drinks. The bartender is one great lady. She did not know how to make an absinthe cocktail but it was THE BEST absinthe cocktail on this side of heaven. I can't wait to come come back next year. If this was her first imagine how great next year's will be. I will make reservations for this hotel next year when we attend the Faire. Anything will be an improvement over the hotel we stayed at this year. « less

I stayed here before and gave it a bad review because of the noisy Rutgers students living in the hotel. Since then, they mercifully got rid of the students, but the hotel desperately needs some new beds.
I had to stay there 3 nights for business and, by day 3, I was in so much pain from the springs in the bed that I could barely walk. Some people at the trade show I was attending said they had a comfortable bed, but there were many who said they also got a very old mattress.
The toilet was very weak and slow to flush and the curtain rod in the bathroom looked like it was going to fall off. The TV remote barely worked and I had to have the heater turned up to 85 degrees just to feel like it was on.
The room was clean, though, and the bathrooms are equipped with those heat lamps you can turn on so that you're not catching a draft when getting out of the shower.
I had breakfast and dinner at their Fuzion’s Restaurant. The breakfast buffet is good. They had eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, toast, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice, and a bunch of other things. You could stay there and have as much of it as you want. The oatmeal wasn't the way I would make it, but everything else I had was good.
The dinner selection seemed somewhat limited, but there were enough options on there to suit most people. I'm not too crazy about the prices at hotel restaurants, but the weather was pretty bad, so we opted to go there. Their prices also seemed high, but certainly not as high as some I've seen. There were plenty of options between $7 and $15. My two associates and I wound up ordering 4 appetizers to share and there was plenty of food to go around. All of it tasted pretty good, too. For the price, we could have gotten more at a diner, but it was a good second choice to avoid the snow.
The restaurant service seemed a little slow and flustered, but when they did come to our table, they were very nice.
The front desk staff were very pleasant to me, although some people at the trade show did say they were rude.
The hotel is shaped like the Pentagon. If you have a room all the way in the back, you'll feel like you're walking for days to get to it. But they have elevators in the rear wings, so if you find yourself with a room back there, you can park outside your wing and use your room key to get in through one of the side doors so you don't have to walk from the lobby to your room every time. The parking is also less crowded on the other sides of the building.
The hot tub in the gym area was functioning on this visit. But the water wasn't as hot as I needed to ease up the pains in my back from that awful bed. « less

Just stayed here for 3 nights during a convention and the hotel is ok...No thrills nothing special just ok. Rooms are average and small. There were some elevator issues and I almost thought we were going to be stranded but it got going. Staff is ok. I will say the maintenance gentleman/shuttle driver was great. It seems they should go back to being a branded name hotel because they don't seem to invest much in sprucing it up. So just to have a place to sleep then this is fine. There are better hotels in the area and I have stayed at the Doubletree next door which is much nicer but the rate was a convention rate that couldn't be beat. « less
