We stayed here for pleasure as we were going to Graceland. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The check in was fast and efficient. When we asked for dinner suggestions, the staff whipped out guest passes for appetizers. The room was set up very well for a couple with different sleep patterns allowing me to read early in the morning and my husband to watch television late at night. Would stay here again. « less

Spend a night in this Hyatt. The rooms are spacious and reasonable up to date. The staff tries to be friendly and the price performance is acceptable but not excellent. Internet is free and there is a shopping mall next to the hotel. A car is needed to travel safe to the nicer restaurant at the other side of a busy road, about .5 miles from the hotel, or to grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks.All in all not too bad but I was never a big fan of the Memphis area because it feels so much more rough as the Mid West were I spend most of my time nowadays. All in all, the Hyatt is not good, not bad but it does do the job « less

Recently stayed at this hotel on a roadtrip. This hotel met the needs of me and my family. As we are a family of three, we needed space to sprawl out after being cooped up in a SUV for 7.5 hours. The large suites were perfect. The rooms have a divider for added privacy, and a pull-out sofa for the little one. The TV in the room is quite large, by hotel standards. The location is perfect, next to a mall and plenty of restaurants and other shopping options. This hotel had a couple of minor flaws. For one, the free breakfast was not all that great. But then again, it is free so I can’t complain too much. Also, the bar has limited options. The person checking you in will likely be your bartender, so keep your drink requirements simple and you will be okay.
I would like to recognize Dante for his hospitality. He is warm, friendly, and goes out of his way to make sure you have a great stay.
I liked this hotel so much, that we stayed here again on our return trip a week later. « less

I was in town for a funeral and spent two nights at the Hyatt Place. My initial walk in the door set the tone - I was greeted warmly, treated with respect and they even tended bar for me right then and there! My room was immaculate, very comfortable, had everything I needed and was very quiet. The breakfast was very good, as was the coffee, everything was clean and tidy in the breakfast area - all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I have had some not so great hotel experiences in my travels, but would stay here again without hesitation. As another reviewer wrote - "Trust the reviews!" « less
