Our room was spotless as were the lobby and breakfast area. Breakfast was well stocked with the usual items found at HIE. The location was great, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The WIFI is strong throughout the hotel. It's very easy to get to. The rooms have extremely modern furnishings with lots of power outlets in the desk. « less

Although this hotel isn't listed on U Dayton's list of recommended hotels, I recommend it HIGHLY. Yes, it's about a 20 minute drive, but the hotel is in an area where there are many restaurants and the Dayton Mall. And it's a great new hotel! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The common areas were clean, organized, and spacious. The free breakfast buffet had several hot items (eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, cinnamon buns, make-your-own waffles), the usual cold items (yogurt, pastries, yogurt, cereal, etc), and juices, milk, coffee, and tea. The hostess was attentive and just wonderful. Our room was well-appointed with two very comfy queen beds. The bathroom was spacious, the towels were thick and plush, and the soaps were fine. The work space was really nice, with a flexible desk on wheels, plenty of outlets, free wi-fi, and comfortable chair. There were plenty of drawers, closet space, and hangers for storage. The television was a nice new flat screen with plenty of channel options. We didn't use the pool / hot tub, but it looked very nice. The fitness center was adequate but small. The business center in the lobby was open and functional, with two computers and a printer. If and when we visit Dayton again, we would definitely stay here. Everything about this hotel was wonderful, new, clean, convenient, and spacious. No wonder it's the TripAdvisor #1 hotel in Dayton, OH. « less

This hotel is quite new. Lobby & breakfast room are attractive. Front desk staff was efficient & friendly. We had a king room (not a suite). It was extremely clean & very well designed - everything in the room was clearly designed with travellers in mind! Comfortable loveseat in one corner.
The bathroom is quite large and also very well designed. I wish all hotel bathrooms looked this sparkling clean!
The room was very quiet - despite the fact that the hotel was quite full during our weekend stay with many families attending a soccer tournament.
Breakfast room was very crowded & could have used a bit more staff to keep tables cleaned & trash emptied & food area replenished & tidied up (after the many children). Food available was the typical - cold cereals, assorted breads, a few hot items. « less

The staff completed a quick check-in and was very friendly. Offered me a snack or drink out of the pantry for being a Platinum member. Got a great room. It had a separate bedroom from the living room, 2 flat screen (actual HD!) TVs, was quiet even though I was right by the elevator. Quietest elevators I've seen in a hotel. Location is great too...right off the freeway and there are a ton of restaurants right around the property and on 725 in front of the hotel. You could even walk to 3-4 decent places like JA Alexanders, Chop House, Carvers and Champps. Satisfactory amenities per usual for HIE. Property is very new and is kept very clean. No problems at all and I am looking forward to being here quite a bit (again tonight!) as I am in the area working with a client over the next month or so. Thanks guys. « less
