Employees, grounds, room and restaurant was all top notch.Upon arrival we received a priority club welcome bag that was very thoughtful :) The only reason I am not giving a 5 star rating is because I like (personal preference) thick soft towels and thus far none of the choice hotel chain establishments that we have stayed at have them. (but we will keep looking) « less

Our reservation was made Aug 2012.updated Jan 2013. I had called the hotel to confirm room choice as I have mobility problem (accessible needed, do have handicap sticker, smoking preferred)....

Our reservation was made Aug 2012.updated Jan 2013. I had called the hotel to confirm room choice as I have mobility problem (accessible needed, do have handicap sticker, smoking preferred). On arrival told unable to give rm rquested. Was told by clerk when checking in someone had been in rm 1 month so unable to move them, next moring was told that the plumbing was out of service, reason not given our preference. The least they could do is keep story straight. The first night put in rm w/spa tub, that neither husband (82) or I could use. We were moved next morning to accessible rm (none smoking). We could have stayed @ any other hotel if wanted none smoking.
We were visiting friends in town and had no car so couldn't change hotels. But not all bad the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast in am was satisfying. Was nice to have quiet nite cap before turning in for night. Felt safe in area and grounds were well kept and lighted.

The motel is simple the best. They go out if their way to have nice beds, coffee, etc. and the breakfast is the best one I've had that is included...
