The wifi didn't work, the shower head made a screaching noise, our comforter had a hole in it, the pool was very small(10x10" about 4" deep, awkward when there are other people in it), no safe in the room, could here the people next to us(not very private), and the parking was $27 a night! The lady at reception was rude when confronted with these problems. The only good thind we found was the location of this hotel. « less

I booked our hotel not knowing which one we would get, and this Holiday Inn ended up being perfect for our needs. Its location was right next to the Metro and really centrally located for walking to almost all of the major attractions of the city.
The parking was easy and reasonably priced and the staff was really nice and helpful. Our room was clean and the view of the nearby cathedral was amazing! Although its not a 5-star hotel or the newest accommodations you could find, it had everything we needed and I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to friends in the future. « less

Stayed here recently for the weekend, and I really enjoyed my time.
The hotel's main entrance is actually on Rue Saint-Urban, not on Avenue Viger. Viger is 1 way, and you can't turn onto Saint-Urban, so try turning on Saint-Laurent (Through Chinatown), then onto Rene-Levesque. Hotel is on the corner of Avenue Viger and Saint-Urban, both are major streets which can get noisy.
Parking is $25/day, which is charged to the room when you check-out. The hotel's lobby and outside decor is influenced by the area. You're also steps from the Palace D'Arms, Metro. On-site spa open until Midnight.
The staff was wonderful and friendly. Our room had a window facing Saint-Urban St. Two queen beds, with a mattress almost memory-foam like. Clean room, and prompt cleaning staff.
The hotel is an easy $10 cab ride away from Crescent St and a few other major party spots. For the rate we paid on a UFC and St.Patrick's day weekend, you cannot go wrong. No breakfast included, other than room service, or the breakfast buffet. Tim Horton's in the Metro station, and a couple of patisseries about a 1 minute walk from the hotel. « less
