I booked this hotel on Hotwire, I got it at 123$ which is very good. The hotel is very well located, just steps away from Old Montreal. On arrival, we were told that the parking was full. No apologies, just a lesson in mathematics "We have 600 room, 200 parking spaces..." So I leave my wife and luggage in the hotel lobby to try to find a parking spot by myself. Fortunately, the were no major event at the nearby congress center, therefore, I found a spot in a reasonable amount of time. On check-in, I am told that i am "upgraded" to a suite. I am a little bit suspicious, as I got this one on Hotwire. Suspicion confirmed, second floor suite. We get in , the view is a grey brick wall and nothing else. The blinds are not functional, but who cares... The room is just above the loading dock, so we could hear noises constantly. Trucks backing up, workers shouting, etc... Even on a Saturday morning. The suite was ok, nothing too fancy. I am glad I did not pay full price for this one, as I would have asked to change room. A better bet in this area is the Intercontinental, just a block away. « less

Numerous parking options are available nearby and are linked to the hotel through Montreal’s underground walkway (RESO). I will follow up with the team accordingly. La Gazette Restaurant - I agree that this one is not the best quality for money, but must admit that I was satisfied with the continental breakfasts choice. Heavenly Bed: I have never experienced better beds in any of hotels! Spa and pool: The pool is much smaller than it looks in the pictures Only in 2013 I spent there 40 nights already. Westin has always been my first choice hotel during stays in Montreal. « less

The Westin Montreal hotel is very nice and big hotel. The hotel is perfect central location in downtown Montreal across from Montreal Convention Center. The room, bed, chairs, flat screen TV and everything in the room is update. The price is very high but for the confront, easy walking to restaurants, shops, Notre-Dame Basilica, China Town and other landmarks easily. If you don't mind pay a lot of money for the room, I highly recommend this hotel. Enjoy your stay! « less

Just spent a weekend at the Westin Montreal and it was a very delightful experience. I always love the " heavenly bed" at the Westins and this was just as comfy as ever. As well, the weather was fabulous and the location so close to Old Town made for several jaunts to the waterfront cafes and restaurants to watch the parade of internationals and locals. We were given several restaurant recommendations by the concierge and all were excellent. We were there for a work conference and the food was delicious and conference facilities were quite comfortable. Everyone we interacted with was bilingual and switched easily and politely to English for us. The wifi was easily accessed. I am planning to return to this hotel when our friends and my husband and I return to this beautiful city. « less
