Our room was clean, comfortable, roomy and quiet. What made this property stand out was the outstanding service of Mike (better known as Capt. Awesome!) at the front desk. Upon arrival after a 12 hr drive we determined that we had made our reservation for the wrong date. Mike not only got us into a room but offered us very helpful advice about our planned driving route for the next day. And he also referred us to a wonderful restaurant that was within walking distance. All done with a smile and professional attitude. A great employee made this "good" hotel into an "excellent" one. « less

The breakfast was really good especially for being essentially free. Hard boiled eggs,cereal, yogurt, make your own waffles and very crispy apples and bananas. the staff was helpful but not at all intrusive. I would definitely stay again! « less

Ok, so this isn't a new hotel, but it is clean! The tile was spotless and the rooms have been updated. Staff was great and helpful. It speaks well of Management when one employee told me she had been there since 2005. We didn't eat breakfast as we were in a hurry to get to NAU, but looked like they had everything. When we arrived there was bananna bread out instead of cookies. LOVED IT! Nice touch. « less

Breakfast, served in the lobby, is included and offers several choices. It is well stocked. Since there are no tables/chairs or specified breakfast area, the guests can share a coffee table and sofa or take food back to their rooms. Note that room rates are about 60% higher when there is an event at the local college. We paid more on Parents Weekend but did not visit Flagstaff for that reason. If you are driving you will want to get directions or use GPS because the motel driveway entrance is behind a big gas station (odd arrangement). After you get in the first time it's okay. « less
