We stayed here for 4 nights during a spring break family getaway. We chose this area due to it's proximity to Universal Studios and the Ronald Reagan Museum. I chose this hotel due to all the positive reviews posted, and we weren't disappointed. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The two-queen room we got was clean and neat. Very quiet too. The room came with a refrigerator and microwave. The flat screen TV was excellent (we got a lot of good channels). Bathroom was clean. The large pool was clean. Continental breakfast was the usual fare, enough to get you going in the morning. Don't be fooled by the exterior of this hotel. Your not staying at a bowling alley. The bowling alley is next door and it did not interfere with the tranquility of the hotel. This hotel was built in 1964, but is well maintained. I love the 60's architecture. We will stay here again if we're in the area again. You won't be disappointed if you choose this hotel. « less

I like coming to this hotel. It is like coming home. The atmosphere is very relaxing and family style. There is a bowling alley and restaurant right on the facility which means I don't have to go out for entertainment. On Saturdays its Karaoke night so much fun

We've stayed here every year or two since 2001 (have family and friends in Canoga Park) and the hotel has really improved over the years. It's nothing special, but clean and well-run and dependable. We stayed on the second floor this time, and I thought it was quieter up there (no elevator, though, so when our kids were younger and we had all their gear to lug, we always chose the first floor). The beds are firm, which I like, and the shower water pressure was OK. There's a fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Ice maker down the hall, vending machines. The TV has cable with local channels, including PBS Kids, which I always hope for in a hotel!
The pool has always been a little chilly for my taste, but the hot tub is pleasant, and the koi pond is very attractive. The breakfast used to be really minimal, but has more choices now -- cereal, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, sweet rolls, muffins, bagels, biscuits, juice, milk, coffee. We haven't gone to the attached cafe in years because the continental breakfast is enough. There are only a couple of tables inside, but if the weather is good, it's very nice to eat by the pool. The neighborhood seems a little rough, but we've never had anything bad happen in all these years. We've never tried out the bowling alley -- maybe someday. « less

The hotel staff where very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful to me. Th only drawback was that they share the parking lot with a bowling alley. The breakfast selection was very limited too.
"Thank you very, very much. Your services allowed me, one person, to make all hotel arrangements for 15 people, in 7 different cities, in less than one week. I can't tell you how much this service has helped me." B.H. - Topeka, KS
"First time experience was great. We are involved with a softball organization that support 5 teams. I will pass the word to the rest of our coaches." P.D. - Bloomington, IL
