While this hotel was top-notch in almost every way, we were disappointed by the water-park which, in this case, was the main reason for our picking this hotel to stay at. Our trip was a treat for our four grandchildren (7 yrs and under) and so the pool was going to be their highlight. The first day, staff said they had boiler problems and the pool was freezing - the kids' lips were blue after a few minutes in the water, and we had to warm them up in the hot tub before leaving. We couldn't even take the baby in. The next two days it did get better but we still felt it was not warm enough for a pool obviously designed for little people (top water depth was only 1.1m). That, plus the fact that the hot tub jets never worked the whole time we were there (3 days), left us with a bad experience with Wingate. Next time we will be looking elsewhere if our trip involves wanting a pool to swim in as it really is designed as a pool for someone to drop into as they come off the waterslide. Internet connection, as well, was very poor and not usable for our iPads in our room. « less

We had an amazing stay at Wyndham. We were there with our volleyball team and the employees there were great, they opened the breakfast area early for us at 6am both Sat/Sun. They allowed us to hang around the breakfast area all weekend long watching the hockey game without any hassel which was greatly appreicated. I cannot say enough about what a great stay we had. The rooms were very big and spacious, the pool was great, just a very nice stay. Thank you. « less

Booked this hotel through Hotwire and was pleasantly surprised. The free parking and free breakfast were important bonuses, and all staff members I encountered were very friendly! I appreciated that the pool area was clean, and that breakfast was tended and did not become too messy throughout the morning. Only suggestions for the room itself (first floor) would be to increase lighting options, and to address the loud utility noises coming from the upper floors. Overall a very good stay - will definitely stay here again. « less
