My family travels frequently and I don't think we have run into any hotel staff as friendly as her. Great way to start your day is with a hug from Marsha (she greets every guest with a hug) WAY TO GO MARSHA! « less

Found this gem on our trip down to Myrtle Beach. Check-in was a breeze. The hotel is almost brand new, with a clean, cozy lobby, and complimentary cookies and beverages. Our room was spacious, well appointed, and very clean. Even the elevator is roomy, with plenty of space to accommodate the "bellhop cart" with all of our luggage. As an added bonus, breakfast was terrific, with many items to choose from. And, even though it's self service, Marsha, aka "the breakfast lady", will make sure that you have everything you need. She's the best! Will definitely stay there again on our next trip south! « less

Sometimes you walk into a hotel and you're immediately struck with a feeling of sunshine and smiles and your whole day improves instantly. This hotel is one of those. The young man who greeted us at the desk certainly contributed greatly to that feeling, as did the bright cheery entrance area. Check in was quick and pleasant. Questions were answered in a way which made you think that your queries were important, not a chore for the desk personnel. (The cookies were excellent, too.) The young man on the desk should travel throughout the country and give lessons on hospitality. Our room was clean, comfortable and welcoming with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good and the "breakfast lady" was as sunny as any we have ever encountered. Proximity to the Bass Pro Shop was a bonus, especially with the great restaurant on its premises. The hotel is easy to locate and is just far enough off the highway. If you are in this area, I strongly suggest an overnight stop at this hotel. « less
