CopperWynd Resort and Club is an intimate 32-room, boutique-style inn that provides guests with an exceptional getaway punctuated by dramatic views overlooking the Sonoran desert from its lofty vantage point high in majestic McDowell Mountains just outside of Scottsdale, Arizona in Fountain Hills. In addition to spectacular views, the resort offers luxury accommodations along with a full-service spa, specious swimming pools, lighted tennis courts, complete fitness center and Alchemy Restaurant and Wine Bar, featuring Inspired Contemporary Cuisine created by Chef Paul O’Connor.
Alchemy’s Inspired Contemporary Cuisine – enjoyed together with panoramic views – provides guests with a dining experience unlike any other. This unique nexus between the restaurant’s natural setting and its culinary adventure lies at the heart of Alchemy’s special appeal. Large glass doors in the dining room slide open to provide a unique al fresco Sonoran desert dining experience courtesy of Mother Nature, and a sprawling patio wraps around the building to offer additional outdoor seating. Chef Paul artfully blends these core elements together to create seasonal specialties and other artesian dishes made up of fresh and local ingredients at a $30-and-under price point.
The Spa serves as a tranquil sanctuary where guests are encouraged to relax, rejuvenate and relaunch. Using a comprehensive array of superb products, the available services employ some of the most advanced skin and body-care techniques in practice. The 5,000 square-foot Fitness Centre is well outfitted with cardiovascular and resistance-training equipment suitable for diverse fitness levels and goals ranging from the weekend warrior to fitness fanatic with brands such as Cybex, Precore and Stairmaster leading the way. Plus, 40 fitness classes are offered each week in the Group Training Studio. Guests may choose to work the midsection during an Accelerated Core session, or perhaps join a heart-pumping, muscle-toning Circuit Training class. In addition to these, the Fitness Centre offers Aerobics, Spinning, Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi. Refer to the fitness schedule inside the welcome packet for a listing of classes and times. Personal trainers are also available to facilitate your fitness aspirations

We stayed in the exact same room as we did last time and enjoyed it even more. I love the bath tub - it is huge! The view from our balcony is incredible and the entire resort is so quiet and peaceful. We truly love the pools and the gym. Our favorite part is the Monday night class at the gym - Yoga with Carmen. Carmen is just the best!!! Thanks again for a wonderful stay! Amy & Scott Brown (room #212) « less

On check-in, the staff was friendly and fast. The room was beautifully furnished in an upscale style that matched the desert theme of the resort. The bathroom was enormous, featuring a large tub and separate tiled shower. High-quality Philosophy brand toiletries were provided, along with a plethora of fluffy towels. The resort amenities, such as the pools, workout room, and spa were well-appointed and very clean. I did not use the spa since there were no appointments available during my stay. The only drawback to this resort, and the reason I gave it four out of five stars, is the resort is only staffed between 7 AM and 11 PM. This was an issue for our group because we were on a tight time schedule for a wedding, however, if you are visiting for a leisurely vacation, it may not be an issue for you at all. We had a large group coming for a wedding, and some of the guests didn't realize they needed to check in prior to the rehearsal dinner due to the limited staffing. Also, the workout room does not open until 7 AM due to the limited staffing and the restaurant is closed until lunchtime. « less

My husband and I stayed just one night to celebrate our anniversary but will definitely be coming back! The room was even better than we expected from the photos. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and super clean (and I am very picky about cleanliness). The view from our room was spectacular of the mountains, a portion of the golf course and the city of Fountain HIlls. When out on the balcony could enjoy the sounds of birds and coyotes, but otherwise was very quiet at night. The jacuzzi was the perfect temp and had a nice waterfall feature and the surrounding area was beautifully landscaped. The staff were very kind - even letting my husband help himself to a snack at the barista cart when the barista had stepped away and calling me on the day of arrival to find out what time we would be arriving - personal service that is almost unheard of these days. « less

Copper Wynd is a lovely boutique resort, with great amenities, fantastic restaurant and service that is among the very best hotels in the world! Rooms are very nicely appointed and quiet. It is a very relaxing environment and the views in the evening and morning are just wonderful. It is the only spot to stay, as far as I am concerned. After a hard days work or play, this is where you will want to be staying! Love it! « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"Using your site took alot of the "headache" out of finding accomodations for our family reunion. I would have never imagined that I could do so little work in so little time and get the results that I needed fast! Kudos for such a grand idea!" I.M. - Baton Rouge, GA
"Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely use your site in the future. This was my first time setting up a conference for a government agency so I have learned a lot. By having the hotels bid for business or at least advise if they could accommodate was a HUGE time saver. I started by throwing darts at hotels in certain locations and cold calling them before I found your website! I really appreciate yours and the teams help." C.B. - Denver, CO
