The hotel is close to the airport and has free parking which is a plus. On the minus side, the receptionist was not exactly the friendliest person around and it took a lot of prodding to get any information out of her. I almost felt like I was inconveniencing her by being there. The rooms are alright but had a musty smell about them and look like they are in need of a major renovation. We had lunch in the attached restaurant and both the food and the service was good.
I am not sure if I would stay there again as the hotel just seems old. « less

I recently spent a few days here and my family and I had nearly no complaints. My only issue was with one member of the front desk staff. One lady was just unfriendly. She had that attitude that she didn't want to be there. For example, when we arrived she was talking to someone on the phone, chatting away while we just stood there. When she was finally done, no apology for us waiting for her. She asked for my drivers licence, and when she finished putting in the information, she stood there with her hand out. We just looked at each other for a few moments, till I finally said "yes?" Then she finally said, "may I have a credit card please?"
The lady aside, the rooms were clean, nice amenities in the room, great rooms.
We ate breakfast each morning at the restaurant and the staff there were great, very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic! I can easily say it was one of the best restaurant breakfasts we have ever had. My father is very picky with his food, and a couple times he pointed out "look they made the eggs just how I like it!"
And if you knew him, you'd know that was quite a compliment!
Overall, great hotel, and we would stay there again the next time we are in Montreal. « less
