For very special occasions, the Hotel also provides a Superior Junior Suite. This is an exclusive room measuring 38 m2 and consisting of a lounge, bedroom with double bed, full bathroom and guest bathroom. Decorated in a warm style to create a relaxing atmosphere to guarantee your rest and enjoyment of your stay. It provides two 32” plasma screen TVs, WiFi, Nespresso machine, kettle and tea, aroma and pillow menu, bathtub, shower with hydromassage and special VIP courtesies.
The restaurant is without doubt one of its finest assets, offering cuisine prepared with the best fresh local ingerdients, and using the latest, most innovative culinary techniques.
Meliá Girona offers free WiFi Internet access in all the rooms and public areas as well as free access to a gym, sauna and whirlpool, where you can relax after a hard day's work or sightseeing.
If you fancy a massage, book a time and you won't have to worry about anything else except relaxing.
THE ROOM
All of the rooms are double rooms for one or two people and are equipped with all of the services and facilities required to ensure a most comfortable stay. They provide a choice of a Queen size bed or two single beds (subject to availability and on request on arrival at the hotel).
All of the comfortable and functional rooms have been fully renovated and have a warm and welcoming decoration, specially designed to ensure both business and leisure travellers enjoy their stay.
The rooms are equipped with a full range of equipment including a desk and a comfortable armchair. The high quality furniture made from wood or cast iron, the relaxing pastel colours and warm carpets create a pleasant atmosphere which exudes luxury and comfort.
THE RESTAURANTS
Gastronomy Meliá Girona
On the first floor we offer guests our delicious breakfast buffet with a wide range of fruits, juices, yoghurts, cold meats, cereals, cakes and a dietary and Catalan corners. Try the homemade hot dishes which our Show Cooking personnel will prepare for you right there and then.
We have more than 80 products for you to enjoy.
On the ground floor is our a la carte restaurant where you can enjoy a specially prepared dishes. It is without doubt one of the hotel's best assets offering cuisine made from the best market produce, using the latest, most innovative culinary techniques.
Opening times: from 13:00 to 15:30 and from 20:00 to 23:00.
Closed on Sundays lunch time.

Girona - The city
Girona is a Roman city which still has its 19th century city walls intact. It is a commercial city which offers all kinds of tertiary services.
During your stay don't forget to visit the Jewish Quarter which was home to 25 Jewish families in the 9th century. During the 13th and 14th centuries the Jews had a great influence on the city and built a quarter which should not be missed.
There are other places of interest to visit such as the Cathedral, the Town Hall, the old quarter, the Arab baths, the monastery of Sant Pere de Galligans, Sant Felix Church, the monastery of St.Domenec and the Paseo Arqueológico.
The museums worth highlighting are the Archaeological Museum, the Art Museum, the Cinema Museum, the Museum of the History of the City, the Capitular and the Jewish Museum.
