We had reservations set two months in advance of family members traveling to this area for a special event. A week before we were to arrive, I called to request that the two rooms I had reserved be close to each other, and the front desk said our reservations were cancelled. I talked to several people who could not tell my why. I had made several calls to other hotels, scrambling to try and get other plans made. In calling back to this hotel, I spoke with the manager, Olivia Willis, who cancelled my reservations several days earlier because they had overbooked. In asking when she planned on notifying us, she had the nerve to say she only had time to cancel because SHE had gone away. I did manage to get two rooms at a Doubletree Hotel, but she was unwilling to compensate for extra expenses we would incur as a result of her actions. She told us to cancel our reservations at DT because she "pushed" us to the Super 8 next door, which she described as "a wonderful, brand new, Wyndham property". She said we would receive confirmation of our new reservations, which we did not. The day before our trip, we tried reaching her again to make sure we had rooms, and she was unavailable. We contacted Super 8 directly to confirm, and as soon as we hung up, Olivia miraculously found the time to call us back, still unapologetic, as if WE were incoveniencing HER. As for the Super 8, with was neither brand new nor wonderful. Thanks for causing so much stress into a happy family occasion. « less

We stayed here for a friend's wedding and were part of their wedding block. The staff was very helpful with questions about the shuttle service for the wedding. The room was large and spacious and the bed was comfortable. We stayed on the 1st floor and didn't have any problems with noise even though the hotel is right off of the turnpike. I also liked that the room offered a frig and microwave. The breakfast was plentiful and restocked continuously. Overall, I think the hotel was worth the price and a good pick for a wedding. « less
