This really was a wonderful hotel. We were visiting as part of our honeymoon and were originally in a standard suite. This was the best room we have ever stayed in with excellent views of the Bellagio fountains. We decided to book some trips to the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam whilst we were in Vegas and found the staff at the bell desk in the hotel more than helpful in organising this for us. We mentioned at this point it was our honeymoon we were given a room upgrade and strawberries and champagne on return from our trip to the Grand Canyon. The upgraded suite was very spacious and had 270 degree views over the strip.We would recommend this hotel to anyone as it is ideally located as well as a haven from the noise of the rest of the strip. If we were to go back we would not stay anywhere else « less

The only negative is the distance and ease of getting to the strip if you wanted to go out on the town. Not too far but far enough to realize when you walk it's a little bit of a hike. Would stay here again. « less

We spent 10 days in this hotel and would thoughly recomend it. Very clean and smart with friendly staff. Our room was good, the only slight moan is the lack of water pressure in the shower, Great location, only a short walk to the strip via the Bellagio or the Aria.
Bar prices were comparable with other hotels though the cafe was expensive.
The pool area is very nice but would be even better were it not as cramped. « less

Stayed at the Vdara for 3 nights last week. Room was fantastic with full facilities including a small kitchen and a dining table. It is attached to the Bellagio Casino by a covered walkway and to several other properties via a free monorail. It has a small cafe serving breakfast and light snacks and seems to be geared to the conference market. I would personally recommend this property to anyone wanting luxury, new accommodation in Las Vegas at a good price. « less

This was our 9th trip to Vegas, to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary so we wanted to treat ourselves... we made a good choice. The location is pretty central on the strip you are set back slightly from the main drag but this wasn't an issue. The lobby/bar/cafe/shop area is very open plan giving a nice airy feeling. Any queries were answered either by the desk staff or the concierge desk which were excellent. If memory serves there were two sets of elevators six for 4-29 and six for 29-56 the wait was very brief. As soon as we arrived our bags were taken by the bell staff so we could check in without having to drag our cases with us. Check in was quick and the staff were very helpful and informative. Our room was the basic deluxe suite, but like the website says it is anything but, it was the best hotel room we have had in Las Vegas, it certainly delivered the wow factor, we were in 39038 this gave us a fantastic view over the Bellagio onto the fountains and looking at the Paris. The other direction gave us a view of the palms and Rio with the mountains in the background. The large windows ran the length of the room it was a fantastic wake up in the morning while enjoying coffee/tea in bed. Having a comfy couch nice leather easy chair and two 40" TV screens suited us perfectly, free WIFI and cable channels were great. Having a fridge, hob and micro/convection oven was fantastic. For us this meant we could have an evening in together with a few nice cold beers/cups of tea. Fantastic bathroom a large walk in shower with seat/product shelf (could easily fit two people in) deep soaking tub and excellent sink/vanity area. Had the best nights sleep here than in any other hotel in Vegas i have stayed in. Really felt like having your own little apartment, The maid service was great verging on the OCD but in a good way. For us it was a great experience but to be on the safe side i'm going to book for next year. To check for consistency. loved it! « less
