Door to room had to be shut very tightly to close. Very few guests were staying - only saw 3 vehicles in parking lot - but no housekeeping services were done in my room. Had to call desk for towels and coffee. Ice maker did not work on my floor. Otherwise the hotel was very clean. « less

The overall experience was very good. The hotel and room was very clean an pleasant. Breakfast was however, awful! When we arrived to enjoy our breakfast at 9:15, the area was a disaster. There were no clean tables and all the trash cans were literally overflowing and spilling on the floor. The majority of the food was empty and the area was a mess. There was a young lady working but she was overwhelmed. There was no milk, no biscuits, and the breads were empty. The young lady eventually started restocking the area which created a stampede to get product because people were waiting. They needed more people working to handle the situation. It was a terrible experience! « less

Always consistent quality at a fair price. We have stayed at this property many times for family events and the service and staff keep us coming back. Property is clean, rooms are spacious and well equipped and beds are comfortable. However, pillows are rock hard. Bring your own! And be sure ti walk down the hill to the trailhead, it is wonderful if you are a runner, hiker or walker. Makes up for less than adequate fitness room. « less

We stayed here before for a few weeks, and had an excellent experience. Manager Jason, Front Desk Clerk John, and housekeepers Jessica and Marilyn were exceptional in every way, as before. They were the main reasons for our return. They are the only ones consistent. The head housekeeper Carla(who was in our opinion TERRIFIC), who was there during our last stay, was "let go" unfortunately, and it really shows. Our room had dog pee on the bottom bed spread(we have no dog), the clean washcloths hanging had dried makeup, hair was in the bathtub, fridge was dirty, no kleenex in room, half a roll of toilet paper only, and the room smelled. The toilet was also up with pee on it like it had been used. We also killed 3 TICKS one night alone in the room (there are woods behind building). The bed by the window also was off of frame, and fell when I rolled over in the bed. The 2 housekeepers I mentioned above were never responsible for our room during our stay. General Manager Sarah always seems to be in a "bad mood" and it definitely comes across in any interaction with her(this was during both of our stays). Graveyard Front Desk clerk/Night Audit was extremely rude to myself and family members that called for us both nights of our stay. She was also this way our last visit as well. She does not know how to transfer calls to rooms, and instead of learning how to, she makes rude remarks to the caller, and also to us as well. She wanted to make sure we knew how much of an inconvenience it was to her to have someone call us at night. We have moved out of state, and may never get to return again, but we hope this is not a downward slope the hotel is headed on. « less
