I recently stayed at this hotel & was very pleasantly surprised. It is close to 91 so very convenient for travel. The hotel is very clean, bright & cheery. It looks new, so I'm guessing it must have been recently renovated. The check-in experience was very nice, along with my room. This was a large room then I expected from a Fairfield. It had an actual small suite area, so I could sit on a couch & watch tv (just swivel the flat screen to face me). Not only did they have a nice flat screen, but it was hooked up to speakers that also were attached to the ihome in the room. Very techno savy. :) They also had an easy connection to Wifi & speed was fine. There was plenty of lighting, along with a mini fridge, & microwave. the bathroom, was very large, & clean & they had great American Made soaps/shampoos. They actually had brand name Pantene shampoo, Pantene Conditioner (not a cond.poo which is soooo cheap), & Vaseline Intensive care lotion, with soaps that matched. Very impressive. My room was right next to the Elevator & initially i was a bit concerned, but I didn't hear a thing. Wasn't a problem at all. Free continental breakfast is available & is very typical of the hotels that offer breakfast. I was pleased with the eggs/bacon/muffin juice & 24 coffee/tea. If you're in the area & looking for a nice hotel this is the place. Definitely recommend. « less

We recently stayed here and had a great time. It was late when we checked in. At check in, they were very friendly and had no problems. They had upgraded us to a bigger room. When we got in there through, the room was very hot. I tried adjusting the temp and the unit would blow colder air at first but then go right back to hot. I contacted the front desk. They offered to either have someone come up and look at it or we could just move to a different room. We chose a different room. This room was still a bigger room. She was very apologetic. We had gotten all settled in when I realize I had put a bag of books in the nightstand and forgot it in the other room. I called the front desk again and they promptly brought it to me. The beds were ok...I like the ones at the Courtyard much better but they were decent. Our room was very quiet too. For our family of 4, we had a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. I had our youngest sleep with me, while our oldest (5) slept on the couch. In the morning we went down for breakfast. The breakfast was pretty good. I didn't care for the turkey sausage they had there but the eggs and waffles were good. I kinda felt like I was at my grandmother's with the elderly woman working there. We had needed a few things like silverware and syrup that had run out so I just asked her. She was a bit slow on her feet but was too cute....happy to get you anything you needed and apologized for not having it out. I'm sure it was out, just had run out since we ate breakfast late. I was happy to see that she didn't just clear everything right out like I've seen other hotels do. Was nice to eat and not feel rushed. Check out was pretty quick and painless....if I had needed anything from her, it would've been difficult though. She had a pretty strong french accent and was VERY hard to understand. There was another couple ahead of us who were trying to ask her questions and they finally gave up when they couldn't understand what she was saying. I would stay here again. « less

This hotel is located at the intersection of I91 and I89, so it is in an ideal location for travel. The room was very nice and clean and the bed was fine as well.The only thing that bothered us was that there is only a comforter and a sheet, so you are either hot or cold.
The exercise room is also very nice and well maintained.
We had a hard time finding the hotel. You can see see it from the highway and the exit but the signage is lacking to actually get to the hotel. « less

A couple of years ago I discovered that the Fairfield Inn in White River Junction was what I considered the best hotel in the area. I have stayed here several times. However, during my last stay I discovered that they have decided to start growing mildew in the showers. It was so bad that I asked for a change of room and the shower in my new room was better but still had mildew. The mildew was easy to wipe away. The shower curtains were also dirty. I mentioned this to the management and the reply I got was that they farm out their cleaning crew to an outside company so they did not have control over this. I did not think that was a satisfactory answer. Additionally, during my stay prior to this I discovered the TV in my room included a porn channel that I did not purchase. Be careful if you are staying there with children and be sure that channel is not active. The internet connection was also poor at times. « less
