BUT you should know about this hampton inns - you can make a reservation with hampton inns on line or through their or a different web site, and if you request a non-smoking room, you can receive a written confirmation with non-smoking confirmed on it (all this we did). print it and bring it with you, for, upon check-in, you may find that a smoking room has been allotted to you, and you may be told (as we were) that that is what you had requested. further investigation will disclose that hampton inns is not guarenteeing you your requested and confirmed non-smoking room, but is, according to the fine print on your confirmation, only obligated to provide you with whatever room type they happen to have left available at your check-in, no non-smoking room must be held for you. if there is only a smoking room left , reeking of smoke, well, that is your room. so, if you have a real allergy to smoke residue, keep this in mind when considering a hampton inns. all this happended to us here. « less

Thank you for complimenting our hotel on being high end and clean with a nice breakfast! I am so sorry that you did not get the non-smoking room that you wanted. Unfortunately there are occasions when a travel agent or a third party website misleads guests to think that they are confirmed on a non-smoking room when all they really did was book the smoking room and put the request to switch it to non-smoking. Well, if non-smoking wasn't available when they booked it, what makes them think that it will be available on the day you check in for us to change it for you? Our number one goal is guest satisfaction, so we try our hardest but sometimes guests who are supposed to check out extend their stay and it throws our inventory off. Overall we do not run in to this scenario all that often, but when we do it is usually on a sold out weekend such as was the case with your reservation. Thank you for understanding and staying with us still. Please let me know if you are ever back in the area and I will personally see to it that you get that non-smoking room that you prefer!

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback about your recent stay! I'm happy to hear that you felt that our breakfast was one of the best. I apologize that you felt that we were in a remote location. We are in the heart of Bucks County just minutes away from several restaurants, shops, museums and attractions. It is difficult if you do not have your own transportation because we are in a Suburban location and unlike a major City you do need to drive to get to places up here in Doylestown, PA. I hope that you took advantage of the two restaurants that are in walking distance from us, KC Prime Steakhouse which is in our parking lot and TJ Smith's Bar & Grille which is just across the street. I know you were trying to kill time and am curious if you took advantage of our indoor pool and newly renovated fitness center. I was a little concerned that you mentioned that you could not find any movies or sporting events on TV. While we do not offer pay-per-view, we do offer 32 HD cahnnels and 48 SD channels including HBO, STARZ & ENCORE in different varieties as well as several ESPN Sports channels. I do hope that if you return to teh area again you have a vehicle with you so that you can go out an explore this beautiful area!

It is a casual hotel located about 15 minutes from Doylestown. My husband, my little son and I arrived about 10:00pm after a wedding party. The area around the hotel looks very pleasant with a close shopping center near by. The Check in was quick. Our room looked confortable and organized. However, I was awake with the sunset (5:40am) for the strong sun light coming from my window. Please be sure that you close the blackout of the rooms where you expect night guests. Also, guest need to find any information about the hotels amenities and schedule for breakfast, pool and gym. Moreover, I suggest to leave at least a bottle of water in each room. Personally l was looking for one late at night. Adding service customer value will increase the satisfaction of your guests without major expenses. (Thank you for the warm breakfast) « less

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about your experience at our hotel! We are very happy to hear that you found your room clean and comfortable and that you enjoyed our complimentary breakfast. The reason that we do not close the black out shades in the guest rooms prior to arrival is because we do not want our guests walking in to a dark room. It is an individual preference of each guest which is why we allow our guests to decide whether or not to close the black out shades. Also, we do not assign room numbers until check in because sometimes guests have special preferences of where they would like their room located. I apologize that you were woken up with the morning sun so early! As far as the bottled water, we do have vending machines with cold bottled water available at all times for our guests. If you become a Gold or Diamond Hilton Honors member by staying with Hilton brand hotels frequently you will be handed a snack and a bottle of water upon check in. Hotel information can be found in our guest room directories located in every room on the desk in the white three ring binder. They contain detailed explanations of times for breakfast, hours that the pool and gym are open, local restaurants and area attractions, etc... Normally our front desk also explains these things at check in, but perhaps they did not do that this time. Thank you again for taking the time to provide us with feedback so that we have the opportunity to grow! We hope you stay with us again if you are back in the Doylestown area!
