I am a platinum member of SPG with a lifetime Gold. This means I have hundreds of stays with this hotel brand. The shuttle was junked there were mystery holes in the seats. The hotel decor is like something out of a teen spring break movie tired broke down. There were trash bags and food trays in the hall. The room well I slept on top of the comforter and used my coat to cover myself. They manage the location like a rouge roach coach. There were business people, couples, and foreigners waiting for room till 8:00 PM they had booked a birthday party for a 15 year old girl and gave all the rooms away knowing they had booking for those guest. The birthday girls dad had his guest checkout Kate and then argued the charges cause his guest had complaints about there rooms lol. This place is a dump don't do it. The 9 hole gold course is a joke not even worthy of put put. « less

We stayed for one night before a cruise on points and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Airport pick up during rush hour was fast and friendly, and check in was a breeze, and the clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and the bed comfortable and the bathroom roomy, and plenty of hot water. Even with a big youth group staying the room and the hotel was very quiet and we a good night sleep. Business center worked well, the pool and hot tub was enjoyable and i used them twice. The shuttle to the cruise terminal was changed to an earlier time as per our request with no trouble, all very professional. The only thing we did not like that much was the location, if you are without a car there is nothing in the area to walk to, but they do shuttle. « less

I was here for two nights (Friday/Saturday) for business. While the driver was very nice, it took 45 minutes to be picked up from the airport followed by a 15 minute drive to the hotel. (You call from the airport when you arrive.) Though the lobby was very busy with a large, noisy event, the check in process was smooth and the staff was helpful and polite. The layout of the hotel is very strange (think a large 3 story open 'X') and the decor is VERY weary. My room had stained, wrinkled and torn carpet. The desk chair was torn, the desk itself appeared to be "repurposed," the club chair was stained, and the windows didn't open. When I scheduled the shuttle ride back to the airport, I discovered that the driver would be on lunch break when I needed to go, so I either had to depart 2 hours earlier than necessary or take a taxi (estimated at $50). Apparently, there is one driver and no one covers his break. Will I return? No. « less

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We regret to hear you will not be returning to our hotel. We agree that the soft goods in the guest rooms need a refresh, and we are in the midst of doing so. All soft goods should be replaced by the end of the year. We will be discussing our shuttle service and hours in our next team meeting. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused you.

We stayed here with my brother's points, so we didn't complain, but if I had paid...I'd have left! First off, when we checked in they had our reservation all mixed up, apparently they find using points to book a room confusing. Because we needed to come in the evening before our original reservation rather than just amend my reservation, they had to make a separate one, which meant I had to come back to the front desk the next morning and re-check in...what year is this?!? (Hertz did this too...what the heck!?). Anyway...back to check in...there were real live prostitutes in the lobby, just hanging outside a room full of drunken people. Yep you read it...they seemed to just be "on call". And the front desk employees were completely aware of this! (RED FLAG!) Yes, the facilities look like a mental hospital or dorm of some kind. Whatever... The room was fine. Standard. The chair was worn and needs replacing, and there were no where near enough plugs (all but two were used; I had to hunt for the second one). The TV was HUGE and not in a good way, in an 'I'm stuck in the front row of the movie theatre way'. Who planed that!? Nice desk, though. We had a pool view, which was fine, except when about 100 (not exaggerating) teens showed up to swim and it sounded like a school yard. The housekeeping needs some training: 1) We stayed three nights, the two days we had service, they did not leave the minimal two towels we started with (we should be given more...but not to replace towels...please). They also never gave us replacement washcloths. So then I had to call for more...and tip a person for bringing me what should be there!? Please... 2) They didn't clean our room until after 3 the first day, the same time we came back to work in the room. We asked her to skip the vacuum so we could have our room. 3) Three separate times (yes 3!) the maid opened our room without knocking! This is just horrible...who trains these people?! 4) Both times we went to the pool there were no towels. I had to call the front desk from the pool phone to have some brought out. The first time I called (from a red phone marked "Emergency/Front Desk) nobody answered...it rang and rang...thank goodness I didn't have an emergency!

My Dad and I Had A Padres Baseball Game Planned and Needed To Check-In Before 3pm. As A Frequent Guest To This Particular Hotel, We Usually Arrive Before 2pm and Get An Early Check-In with No Problem. This Particular Saturday April 27, 2013 Though, We Were Not Able To Check-In and The Manager Said We Had To Wait Til 3pm. I Didn't Get His Name, But I Thought His Attitude Wasn't All That Good. Still, We Waited In The Lobby (With At Least Three Other Families/Couples) Until 3pm. I Did Notice Two Conventions and They Were Sold Out The Night Before. In The End, It Was OK and We Got Our Requested Room On The Third Floor (Room 3032) and We Enjoyed It. The Stay Was Great As Usual, and We Got A Much Needed Late Check-Out After 1pm On Sunday. Overall, I Won't Be Too Critical But I Wished The Check-In Process Was Better. I Would Stay Here Again and My Dad Prefers To Stay Here Than Be In Downtown SD. To Add - The Padres Beat The SF Giants In 12 Innings At Petco Park (Just Awesome). Peace - Joe The Bear « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"Our church ladies do this once or twice a year and you will now be my "GO-TO" place immediately. I was AMAZED that within just a few minutes of clicking on that contact hotel button that I got phone calls from REAL people that politely answered all my questions and were willing to accommodate our every need!!!! W O W !!!!! I'm impressed and will automatically go to your site again when our ladies plan a get-away. :~) THANKS SO MUCH" M.S. - Indianapolis, IN
"My middle school band and I have been extremely pleased with the service we received from your company. I had many choices for hotels very quickly and the hotels I considered were all excellent. Even after I selected our hotel, your agents stayed in contact with me periodically and even arranged a free upgrade of my room to a suite! What a nice surprise! I plan to book my next trip through them and would highly recommend them to my friends for their group travel plans. Thanks for a great experience." C.C. - Grove Hill, AL
