I cannot say anything about the hotel (just the restaurant) that is negative. The room was nice and everything was very clean. Anytime I called down to the front desk for something, I got it within minutes.
HOWEVER.... Their restaurant "Basil" is another story....
The food was ok, but I have NEVER had worse service, in my life. If you get Sherronda, run for the hills!!!! I am not kidding. She was rude, slow, and never checks on you. Her favorite line is "Gimme a sec". We had her twice. The only reason we went back to this god awful place (the town), is because nothing else is open on a Sunday. She should not be working with people. If you get her, good luck « less

Rooms are a lot better with new furniture. Watch the garage though as the YUKON I was driving scraped the roof as ceiling is lowest I have ever seen in a garage anywhere in the world. No way would an RV or Sprinter clear. Places on property still look worn but overall a big improvement. I am at a loss why when they rehab Starwood hotels they neglect to overhaul the elevators with new mechanical components. A new elevator lining just covers up an old tired elevator. The garage needs a complete clean up, including the floor, new modern bright LED lighting and new markings. An old tired looking garage drags a property down as it is the front door to the building. « less

The garage has a 6 foot clearance with signage and a height bar before the entrance of the garage to help avoid any damage to the top of any vehicle that is 6 feet or taller. I do apologize your vehicle was unable to fit in the garage. The front desk staff does have several options for the vehicles that are over 6 feet tall. In addition, the garage was completely renovated in September and October of 2011 and is scheduled to be power washed completely in June or July 2013. I booked this hotel through Amex' travel service, and was delighted with the room... I ended up bringing my new business partner into the room for hours of discussion, and we were comfortable at the desk and couch, and were able to have coffee at the bar. Since I was on the Club level, I had a nice, quiet self-serve breakfast in the Club room, very worthwhile. I strongly recommend this central, friendly, comfortable and quiet hotel if ever you're in town for business. « less
